4. Shakira - $38 million
5. Beyoncé - $27 million
6. Gwen Stefani - $26 million
7. Christina Aguilera - $20 million
8. Faith Hill - $19 million
9. Dixie Chicks - $18 million
10. Mariah Carey - $13 million

I am not surprised by Madonna and Celine Dion being so high on the list. But Barbra Streisand? $60 million?

And I know $27 million is a lot of money, but I expected Beyonce to do better. She made $7 million more than Christina Aguilera, and Beyonce seems to have been everywhere in 2007.

And I think Britney Spears did well considering that her new album did not do well in comparison to her other albums. Moreover, she did not tour.

The funny thing is that only a few of them make 100% from their music, this is also counting clothing,perfume and any endorsements they do, payments they get from doing media things, like magazines etc.. as for Babs, well all she would have to do is one show and she gets 60 million from the promoter and outrageous ticket sale prices.

It's telling that Madonna and Barbra Streisand---two artists who are considered well past their prime---are making more money than most of these newer,"hot" artists who are supposedly more popular.Go figure.
