Lenny Kravitz giving away Album... ...dunno if this is the right place, but thought Id post it
Lenny Kravitz is giving away an Album next week in the UK Paper "The Mail On Sunday" The same paper as to which Prince gave away Planet Earth. The album contains 6 (Yep SIX) tracks off his new album, while the other 6 tracks will be studio versions of his classics. I'll be getting this me thinks I got more hits than Madonna's got kids!

Me 4! Just read the article... interesting. He mentions Prince coming round to his house in Miami and saying "I can see why you don't get out very much" (really nice pad). P was also the only person he didn't ask to take his shoes off when he came in, as he respects him so much
A lot of similarities between him and P actually, both Gemini's, both had troubled relationships with their fathers, both proficient musicians, can't remember the rest - oh and he lives in Miami! Isn't that where P is moving to?

I got mad luv for brotha Lenny but he is the R. Kelly of rock music. I ain't mad at him, though. He's corporate-rockin' his ass all the way to the bank. Somebody's gotta ride the middle, I guess.

And completely unrelated, he has a kick ass design firm in Miami to boot. He's getting major commercial accounts under his belt (like Ian Schrager Company) . lord knows his own house in Miami has been a good model a of his work and easy calling card since goodness knows when. It's been used as a fashion editorial location for the highest tier fashion magazines for years ( and the day rates for location homes in S. Florida are insane). Even if he stops making his music for a minute, he's doing well with his diversified income. This brotha is definitely corporate rocking his way to the bank, in more ways than one....er uh...not that three's anything wrong with that

Very nice indeed. 6 new tracks and a complilation of his greatest hits:
Are You Going My Way Fly Away Love Revolution It Ain't Over Til It's Over A New Door Stand By My Woman If You Want It Bring It On Let Love Rule Good Morning Stillness of Heart Love Love Love My 2 Pence: FRESH & ROCK-RICH Love 'Love Revolution'. A throw-back to T-Rex for me. Fantastic. 'It is time for a Love Revolution. It is time for a new constitution'. Absolutely love 'A New Door', and when I close my eyes and listen to it, the composition is very Lennon/McCartney. Sweet, very sweet. 'If You Want It' is cool, but kind of just flew by me, not making that much of an impact. Although I did perk up on the guitar solo, a bit of funkiness going on there..loving that. 'Bring It On' rocked my top off. 'Take on this world, rock steady'. Nice. You gotta crank this one up & fill those walls. Could not sit down on this one. And Kravitz does a mean solo, pouring water all over that thing! Hope he performs this one live. 'Good Morning' Hazy & Lazy and very nice. 'Top of the Morning to ya'. A great sing along. Could see this one doing well mainstream. But what the hell do I know! Me likes this one verrrrry verrrry mucccchhhh! 'Love Love Love'. Love It. Very anti-capitalism and anti-corporate. Rejecting all the ridiculous stuff this world is made of. But I'm not rejecting this...it's funky as hell. Theres a guy called Micky Free who I love. Excellent guitarist and this track reminds me of him, same style of everything. I'm rocking on this one. Nice to have the old favs on here as well, all in one go. Nice one. Crank it Up Lenny! This is going on my i-pod now, which is more than I can say for Prince's release, which I haven't listened to since. Genius is born, not made. Prince is a Genius. No question. RIP Legend.

Has anyone noticed Tony LeMans co-wrote 'Good Morning', does anyone have any details as to when it was written?
