Mary Wells appreciation thread

After going overboard on the Mary topics last night, I decided this time around, I'll put more of Mary's songs here, so all of y'all can enjoy it without one of the mods asking me about it. lol

Anyway, here comes some more Mary. wink

Laughing Boy

You Lost the Sweetest Boy

What's Easy for Two Is So Hard for One

He's the One I Love

My Guy

When I'm Gone

[b]Honey Boy

The tracks with Marvin:

Once Upon a Time

What's the Matter With You Baby

Duet with Smokey:

I Want You Round

---
More coming on the way if you want it. All Mary all day baby! cool

Absolutely essential stuff.

I'm either getting the "Ultimate Collection" or the 2-disc, 43-track "Looking Back".

And I hear that MJ loved Mary. wink

It's too bad the majority of her work didn't get more recognition because I think a lot of her songs could have competed with any of the big Motown hits, but I think she was really talented and i've always loved her voice. I especially love "The One Who Really Loves You". It's probably my fave song of hers music.
"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart

That's exactly the type of passion I was hoping for.

I'm often leaning towards the more in-depth stuff, but this just pushed me over the edge.

Now I've just got to find it.

I own the Motown Legends CD which is cool, but not as many songs as the fore mentioned cd's, but she and Smokey Robinson really had a chemistry together.
Lady Cab Driver is one of the greatest songs ever!
