I tried to get into them but couldn't. Say Yes is cool, as is Butterflies (though I do like Mike's version better)...

I don't understand what's going on with Natalie and Marsha. I know Marsha was touring with Amanda Diva (artist, MTV2 VJ and sometime on VH1's Best Week Ever and). They ran into some problems last summer when promoters were billing them as "Floetry 2.0", that didn't sit well with some fans who came out to see the shows. Last summer Natalie announced she needed a break.
Marsha has become "hook girl" on songs here and there. I don't know if her solo album will ever come out. She's on Dr. Dre's Aftermath label. Now, "Floetry" -which ever incarnation it maybe- is on Raheem DeVaughn's new album. The song is called "Marathon". I hear Natalie but I don't think that's Marsha on there.I might be wrong. I check the booklet. I don't see Marsha's name. BTW, both ladies say they are still friends are planning for the future.

I liked them for the most part. But what i discovered seeing them live is while I would be all up IN Marsha's vocals (that heffa can hit some NOTES!), Nathalie's spoken word over Marsha's singing eventually became annoying and distracting to the performance for me. It's a pity, because while I enjoyed some of their songs on cd, their floecist/songstress concept didn't always translate well in concert. It felt tedious after a while

They were pretty good live but sometimes I wanted Nat to shut up. Good lord, you and Ott read my fucking mind: Natalie's was annoying! Masrhsa carried the group with her amazing voice. It was simply a matter of time when Marsh was like "Yo, bitch. I do all the work. Peace!" on my AIM this is actually one of my "Away" messages: Am I the only one that hates the rapping side of Floetry? I mean, is she REALLY needed? It's a cute gimmick but after you get a whiff of Marsha's voice, you just want Nat to shut the fuck up. nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher

They did. It was a unique vibe. But after a while, as Marsha's voice began to take over, you just didn't want to hear Nat rapping. Nat could never do a solo rap joint while Marsha could do a solo joint. nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher

Hey, if you can't tolerate P giving HIS gf's a job... Oh chile, please. With the exception of Sheila E., as far as I'm concerned ALL those heffas shoulda stayed home and washed his socks or something, instead of going anywhere NEAR a recording studio
