I wished "I Want Your Sex" featured all three parts in sync rather than the first two on one track and part 3 at the end of it, lol.

There's actually a mix that has all 3 parts in sync with each other. I can probably find it on PlanetGeorge.org "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

It was a mixture of him and Prince but it was so George I didn't even think of linking it to MJ or Prince.

Here's the review from GeorgeMichaelForums.com:
Initially rather crudely titled "Johnny Sex". "I Want Your Sex" was originally intended to kick-start his friend David Austin's flagging solo career. Re-thinking his generosity, George saw this as the perfect opportunity to rid himself of his fluffy Wham! image once and for all, by deliberately seeking controversy and, in turn, critical kudos. Heavily influenced by Prince's light brand of funk, George similarly plays all his own instruments in the first part of this superb shocker. Unsurprisingly, the blatant carnality of this scandalous piece of pop provoked the intended publicity and initially gained George some much needed 'street cred', but unfortunately in backfired as the massive AIDS awareness campaign swept both sides of the Atlantic. George was duly targeted by the more self-rightous critics as promoting promiscuily; 'Sex is natural, sex is good / Not everybody does it, but everybody should'. Despite a hasty re-write of the lyrics to intimate monogamy, the song was still banned by more than a third of American radio stations, dropped by the BBC and restricted from radio play nation-wide before the 9.00 pm watershed. Sales dropped accordingly and for the first time since Band Aid had prevented "Last Christmas" from reaching the top spot in 1984, a George Michael composition failed to reach Number 1. Musically speaking, it is not until Part ll, "Brass in Love", that George really begins to swing. Instantly funkier with a walkingbass, wah wah guitar and spotlight-stealing horns, this was released as the B-side to the infamous Part l. Bonus track, this time included on both CD and cassette formats. "A Last Request" completes the "I Want Your Sex" trilogy with a downbeat, late-night conclusion. Toning down the original drum loop and adding seductively unintrusive muted brass. George hushedly intones what appears on the surface to be a simple, intimate love song but is in fact a rather sinister affair. In "I Want Your Sex (Monogamy Mix)" George had praised within a steady relationship, 'the only way I was going to get the sex was with consent', but by the end of this unholy trinity George has resorted to a devious plan in order to bed his partner. With the muffled words, 'It's late, time for bed / So I sit and wait / For that gin and tonic to go to your head' we are left with the distinct impression that George is not quite the gentleman he would lead us to believe. Not so much "A Last Request" as "A Last Demand" this somewhat Machiavellian design leaves a slightly sour residue after such a monumental album. The official mixes: 4:51 I Want Your Sex 4:46 I Want Your Sex (Part 1) [Lust] 4:43 I Want Your Sex (Part 2) [Brass In Love] 9:13 I Want Your Sex (Parts 1 & 2) 3:59 I Want Your Sex (Part 3 - A Last Request) 13:12 I Want Your Sex (Monogamy mix) [Lust / Brass In Love / Last Request] "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

oh, I love this song. I wish it was part I on Ladies & Gentleman, to have it remastered, or in better quality, or whatever. is it on Twenty-Five? I don't think it is (but I don't have it, so I don't know). "Half of what I say is meaningless; but I say it so that the other half may reach you." - Kahlil Gibran

I love the version that´s on the Ladies and Gentleman album. That´s so hot. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I actually like it better the way it is on the album. He revisits it to close the album. From beginning to end, the message is "I don't want your freedom, I want your sex." "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Great song. The song and video was the first time I ever heard of sex when I was a kid. Thank you George. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I didn't hear this song until months after its initial release. My local pop radio station wouldn't play it.

Best Michael's dance-track, by the way It was 1987, it featured scenes that they didn't think were appropiate for MTV in the daytime. Not to mention it hadn't even been a year since Wham's breakup. His teen idol status was still strong "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

It was a mixture of him and Prince but it was so George I didn't even think of linking it to MJ or Prince. Now that you mentioned it, I was playing the CD back in the 90's at my mother's house, when "I Want Your Sex" came on, she asked me why I loved Prince so much. I damn near shit my pants with laughter.....then fell out again when I saw the expression on her face when I told her it was George.
