Yea, that track surprised me.
I think the new album is actually really good. The first half is upbeat and the second half is more on the chill side. The songwriting is better than last 2 albums for sure. My only complaint is the mix sounds almost mono to me. Doesn't sound as produced as some of his better work.
I have the DVD that came with the special edition and when your hear the production/sound/mix of his older songs, you can hear a major difference between those and the new stuff.
But maybe LK wanted a more raw approach sound-wise, to the album so there ya go.
Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

when I first heard this album, I thought it was fairly Lenny as usual and basically it is. My only gripe is that this album is SERIOUSLY lacking lyrically....

is it me or does "Good Morning" sounds like a Paul McCartney and Wings song(in their early days)

and "Will You Marry Me" is of course James Brown.

I also hate the fact that the bass guitar parts arent as prominent as on "5"(i.e. "Live")

but what I can appreciate from Lenny is his organic sound. I will take that ANYDAY over whats out in the mainstream.

I dont think this album is as strong as "5" but its listeneable
