Saw Erykah Badu in Tel Aviv last night Amazing gig...
And I don't even have any of her records Where should I start? I've "got" a couple of trax with her collaborating (Common, Roots, D'angelo etc.). From the concert, I think I'd be more into her newer stuff - the first half was totally unexpected and exciting. the hits were a little boring (that is, the ones that she didn't totally re-invent). Hey ! I was at the concert too ,first row... I LOVED her...what a voice, what a voice!
I was amazed by the fact that she went into the crowd fearless with so much love for her audience. Now, when's Prince coming to TA?

I've seen my girl live 7 times...one of the times I was taking my then bf. I so wanted him to experience this with me but once at the door of the House of Blues he freaked out and said something about being afraid of crowds and I was like WTF. So I went in by myself. Gave away the other ticket to this girl who was in tears because the show sold out, she tracked me down later with a bottle of beer (very sweet girl) and we hung out the entire night. Her name was Zoey. We held hands and cried during "Green Eyes." She was also going through some bs... I'm taking Richard (Supa!) to her next show. She plays in LA annually. I've seen her a total of four times...you have me beat.
