PAULA ABDUL TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM (It's about time!) February 1st, 2008 | 12:30 AM Former pop star PAULA ABDUL is set to make a musical comeback by releasing a new album. The Straight Up singer has recorded new single Dance Like There's No Tomorrow for fellow American Idol judge Randy Jackson's upcoming compilation of dance songs, Randy Jackson's Music Club, Vol. 1 - and was so thrilled to be in the studio again, she decided to lay down an entire album of tracks. Abdulmatic - her first release since 1995's Head Over Heels - is slated for release in the summer of this year (2008). P.S.: It was first announced back in 1999 that Paula Abdul would release a new album. If she's already back in the studio laying down a complete new album of tracks, why the hell wouldn't she put out the previous one? LOL anyways, here's this list of unreleased songs Paula Abdul has already recorded. 1.Karma 2.Circle of Love 3.Over & Over 4.25 Ways Into My Bed 5.One Moment 6.Your Girlfriend is You 7.Bigger Than Life 8.Dancin' Machine 9.Mirror, Mirror 10.I'll Never Fall in Love Again - BMI 11.You've Got Me Wrong - Written by Jennifer Marks & Peter Bliss '98 12.Fly Without Strings 13.Next Stop Heaven - Produced by: Michael Moore '97 14.Love Me Inside Out 15.In My Dreams 16.Take Care of My Love 17.Satisfied '89 MCA 18.Don't Mess With My Man '89 MCA 19.Santa Claus is Coming to Town '92 A&M 20.Love You Blind 6-14-96 21.All Your Are Is Good For Me 6-14-96 22.I Changed My Mind 1-5-97 23.My Life 1-5-97 24.Dreaming Days Are Through 1-5-97 25.Let's Bounce - Produced by Nile Rodgers 26.If I Were Your Girl (Jon B Remix) 2001 27.Telefunking - 2001 28.Just Cool - 2001 29.The Blues - 2001 30.Lovers Talk - 2001 31.I Love You - 2001 32.Love Again - 2001 33.Get Closer To You - 2001. this is all speculation, apart from the Randy Jackson track, and that's from his album. "Half of what I say is meaningless; but I say it so that the other half may reach you." - Kahlil Gibran

I can't wait for her new album to come out. The anticipation is killing me. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ

Now why would Paula open herself up to a whole round of critisism that you
just KNOW is coming from critics... "The judge can't hold a note....why is SHE judging talent???" Face it, she never was a good singer. And her pill popping may get worse if she can't handle the bad pub. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

No shes not Madonna is! Well...Paula doesn't have a voice. Prince had to multi-layer her voice several times for the pathetic cover of "U"

But even I'm not going to over-rate her. And I doubt the most crazed Paula fanatic would either "Half of what I say is meaningless; but I say it so that the other half may reach you." - Kahlil Gibran

I had no clue there was a version from 87...is it better than the original one from the 70's?

Prince's 87 is almost identical to Paula's 91 version. only a couple of lyrics were changed. the instr. track almost exactly the same. Michael Moore the movie maker produced a Paula track? What? I wouldn't doubt that Paula does have album's worth of material recorded. It might be "dated" although what is cutting edge in dance pop now considering so very few good dane pop albums come out and the genre is becoming less and less mainstream (if it's not blown out of exisistance).
