Unveiled: Michael Jackson finally shows off his children to the world

http://www.thisislondon.c...article.do

By any family's standards, they could hardly be described as conventional.

And while these casually-dressed youngsters in baseball caps and jeans may look the picture of normality, their life is anything but.

For the reclusive father taking his three children on a family trip to Las Vegas was none other than troubled pop star Michael Jackson.

The 49-year-old singer usually goes to extraordinary lengths to keep his youngsters under wraps by swaddling them in scarves and masks to prevent them being seen.

When in public the trio - Prince Michael I, 10, Paris, nine and Prince Michael II, five - normally view the world from behind their chiffon veils amid their father's fears of a security risk and potential kidnapping.

But the singer had clearly let his mask slip as he allowed the children to wander freely without their disguises on this rare sighting.

With her caramel blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, Paris showed she had little of her father's traits on the outing to see ventriloquist Ronn Lucas' show at the Luxor Hotel.

Dressed in a white quilted jackets, red baseball cap, jeans and trainers, she strode confidently ahead of Jackson with her brothers following in her wake.

Like her, Prince Michael I showed a striking resemblance to their mother, Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe, who handed over custody rights to the King of Pop.

Only Prince Michael II - who is known as Blanket - was subject to an attempt at a cover-up with a nanny pulling his hood over his face - while he showed a mischievous streak by grinning and struggling to escape.

And had it not been for Jackson attempting another "incognito" outfit as the family left the 90-minute show, they might have gone unnoticed.

Dressed in a scruffy green anorak with the hood pulled down low, large dark glasses and a scarf pulled across the lower half of his face, it was - well - business as usual as far as the pop star's odd behaviour goes.

In the past couple of years he has been spotted in a series of increasingly bizarre outfits, from covering his face with sticking plasters in Las Vegas last Christmas to wearing an abaya - a concealing Arab woman's garment - in Bahrain and a large floppy hat, blouse and high heels in St Tropez.

The Jackson family have become nomads since the singer's trial over allegations of child abuse in May 2005.

Although he was cleared, he was humiliated by revelations about his private life and became more reclusive than ever, leaving his Californian home to drift from one country to the next with his children in tow.

Jackson is also said to be in £170 million in debt after seeing a slump in his popularity.

He attracted controversy five years ago when he dangled Blanket over the balcony of his Berlin hotel to gasps from the crowd below - but friends have insisted he is a devoted father.

One said: "He spends all his time making sure the children are happy. Michael is a big kid himself and plays silly games with them. He does not let them out of his sight."

For the past two years the Jackson family have been drifting from one country to another.

Traumatised by the trial and his diminishing public persona, Jackson fled California and the family have been on the move ever since.

The trial had a huge affect on him and the distressed star once showed up to court in his pyjamas.

The humiliation of the entire ordeal led to Jackson becoming even more reclusive than usual and he is now rarely seen in public.

Last month a source told the Daily Mail: "To him, it's just one big adventure. Nothing fazes the guy. He's all about his kids, anyway. As long as he has his kids, he's fine."

Jackson's parenting skills were called into question in 2002 when he dangled Prince Michael II, over the balcony of a Berlin hotel, and appeared to briefly lose control.

But those close to him insist that he is a terrific father.

A former attorney said: "He spends all of his time making sure the children are happy,"

"They're schooled at home by their nanny, Grace Rwaramba.

"All three treat Grace, who is from Rwanda, as they would a mum. They love her madly.

"Michael does, too. He's a big kid himself and plays silly games with the kids.

"He's also strict - they're well-mannered. He doesn't let them out of his sight."

Recently Jackson's career has been in rapid decline as he battles crippling debt.

The star has allegedly squandered his $1.5 billion fortune and he is $160 million in debt through mounting loans and lawsuits.

The legal bill for his child molestation court case was said to be around $30 million.

And his 2,700-acre Neverland ranch is on the verge of being repossessed after he failed to pay back a £12 million loan in October.

What was the settlement worked out between Michael and Debbie? Does she have visitation rights? Do they go spend time with her a few times out the month/year?

Please explain your "a drop of black blood" comment. Because whether you believe their not his kids, that comment doesn't make any sense.

Well, isn't Michael genetically black and in most cases don't mixed race children, no matter how light or dark they are, have a tendency of physically protraying both the ancestry of European and African ancestry in their physical features be it in the hair, facial features or skin tone. Well I don't see it in any of these kids. Now if it was just one of them like that then you can say its a fluke but practically all three of them....naw.

I can't believe you dignified that question with a response.

I think it was all worked out back in 2006 or something. She has visitation rights from what I remember. I'd have to go and read the articles confused

I don't know who the bigest wackos are. People who think those may be his kids, or people who know they're not his kids, and still can't see how it connects with his whitened skin. Any sane person can see they are signs of the same thing. This dude does not want to be black. He lies about his kids and expects people to believe it, and he lies about his skin and expects people to believe it. His self hatred is of course his own problem, but it's also an insult to his entire race.

There are papers from the 1999 Divorce floating around and court papers from the 2005-2006 proceedings.

Prince's real name is actually just Michael Joe Jackson Jr. and not Prince Michael Joesph Jackson Jr. lol
I gotta look, but there was a DNA test done on the first 2. I never really read those because that stuff never really sparked my interest

Either way IMO, they're his children. He's taken care of them and they know him as their father

And before someone goes off on me(like someone on a MJ board did recently lol ) being bi-racial does not mean that your look has to fit a certain stereotype. It doesn’t equal olive colored skin and curly hair, and since I have MANY biracial relatives and friends, it's kinda common for me.

But hey, what do I know? lol

Amen 2 that. Those children do not have any characteristics of an African American. The more I think about it, MJ must have used Debbie as a serrogate and the children were fathered by someone else. Come on, we've all seen pics of Tito, Marlon, Rebbie, Jermaine and Jackie's children and they all have features that resemble Katherine or Joseph (bi-racial included). These children don't resemble any of them.

You're talking too much sense. But trying to talk sense to the lunatics in Michael's fan base is like pissing against the wind. Some of his white & asian fans(at other sites) think he looks better white than black.

True, they may be legally his but biologically they are NOT, but he pretends they are neutral .

And yes we know all mixed race children don't necessarily have olive skin and curly hair with dark eyes, but even if they are pale skin with blue eyes and blonde hair they usually have something that indicates they have a black parent, be it the textile of their hair , facial features or something. In Michael's case ALL three kids have no African features whatsoever. And yet people still believe Michael is "proud to be black" because he said so neutral .

He is NOT proud to be black in anyway shape or form. He personally can't stand looking black himself, no matter how beautiful he once was, and he can't even bear to have children that even look a little black that is self hatred to the core. He is a lost soul living in his own fantasy land pretending to be what he is not and fortunately for him he still has fans that go along with his pretences.

We live in a country where it's kinda taught to hate being black or dark, and since Michael's so reclusive and private, we don't know if he does or not. All I know is that it must be pretty frustrating to know that the first real black superstar who broke barriers and was 'accepted' by all races and nationalities, happens to get vitiligo, and relentless press concerning his appearence. Making it harder for people to believe he is proud of his heritage and proud of the fact that he is black, ya know? So the best thing to do is hope and pray that he's faced his demons and is at peace with himself.

The kids, we don't know because we weren't there. I don't know if they're biologically his or not, but the main issue is that they're okay.

Whatsgoinon, there was a BIG discussion on an MJ board about this very same topic lol

Yea, he got vitiligo while at the same time he decided to remove everything else about himself that made him look black. Then he decides to marry a white, woman who he had no attention on settling down with and raising a family so that she could produce lilly white children. Debbie Rowe was a surrogate, who marries their surrogate wink

If it makes you feel better believing in all these coincidences fair enough, but I say he is a lost soul living in La La Land, surrounding by "yes" men who is anything but proud of who he is.

I remember reading Quincy Jones' autobiography, and he was talking about Tina Turner, and how he wanted her to play the part of Shug in The Color Purple, and how Tina Turner flat out refused, and said "I wouldn't do a Black picture if I was dying, it took me twenty years to get out of that black shit and I ain't going back". Never once have I heard people on this org talk shit about Tina Turner hate being Black, yet Michael Jackson, who never said anything degrading about Black people, Black culture, Black music, his family, Africa, etc., has been accused on a daily basis about hating being Black. I guess because she still has her pigmentation, she can get away with saying that?????

Oh please, this ain't about Tina Turner. Many black people have issues about their blackness, but none of them have worked so hard to get rid of their own blackness, in the way Michael has. Actions speak louder than words.

Yea, Tina Turner still looks black and she also has black children and she doesn't pretend they are NOT hers. She may have issues but she knows who she is and doesn't pretend otherwise.

MJ actions of ridding anything about himself that spell BLACK, tells me about his mentality. Just bacause he gives to black charities doesn't stop him from self-hating. No one saying he hates all black people, I mean I am sure he loves his mother, sisters, Diana Ross etc, but that doesn't mean he hasn't got self hatred for himself. And his actions continue to prove it again and again.
