I fell in love with Fleetwood's "Over My Head" last year. It is such SUCH a beautiful song. nice mid tempo almost slow jam type of tune...I like their early use of sampling u can hear it at the end of the song if u listen closely. Her vocals ooo-oo -o-oooh- it's tight. I might b the only 1 who knows that.
Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

I really LOVE so many Fleetwood Mac songs. They wrote such beautiful, honest and mature songs, and Stevie's voice bow

They all just came together at the right time. Fleetwood Mac was one of those magical moments in time when spirits unite to birth something so immensely powerful that it cannot sustain itself forever, but its beauty remains infinite. Last month I listened to my Fleetwood Mac play list for about two weeks straight. I have some solo Stevie stuff mixed in too. My favorite songs by them are:

Beautiful Child
Storms
Crystal
Landslide
Dreams
Everywhere
Never Going Back Again
Silver Springs
Leather and Lace (Stevie Nicks and Don Henley)
Bella Donna (Stevie Nicks)
Stand Back (Stevie Nicks)
After the Glitter Fades (Stevie Nicks)
Go Insane (Lindsay Buckingham) - I REALLY love the live acoustic version of this song from around 1997!

Can't believe I forgot "Say You Love Me." The chorus is so much fun to sing along with.

I don't know about Fleetwood Mac, but DEFINITELY Talking Heads. nod Art school Punks, New Wave weirdos, White Funk hipsters, and multi-cultural innovators.

One of the greatest New Wave bands of all time! thumbs up!

talking heads is one of my favorite bands ever. i think they were more than just a good pop/art rock band - i think they were insanely funky, especially around the time of "fear of music" through "stop making sense". that aspect of the heads gets overlooked by david byrne's visuals and quirkiness, i think...not to mention that tina weymouth is one hell of a bass player and she doesn't get the accolades she deserves. i have nothing but love for talking heads. bow

Well Stated Anx. Everybody must keep in mind that this collective put in work during the original punk movement that was going on underground in NYC during the 70's which was influencing the British Punk Movement. Also, the other cool thing about the members of Talking Heads was that in the 80's, some of the members branched off to do their own Funky vibe called the Tom Tom Club which had a hit with the Genius Of Love.
