Why are the two OFFICIAL tracklists got different songs, the fact they are not the same, says somethings fishy. The man I think has retired and he owes too much money, why do you think Sony would give a 49 year old freak who was popular 25 years ago keys to a studio to make more 80s electropop. If u believe that I have the Brooklyn bridge to sell you.
Record companies would rather invest in the greatest hits of Chingy and Akon!! 17 Years ago I made a commitment to Prince

Orgers are having fun and speculating like they do in other new-album related threads like the one for Madonna. And btw, he is still popular among a number of people around the world. Sure, he reached his all-time commercial peak with Thriller, but only someone with a grudge against MJ would deny his popularity well after Thriller.

His poularity died off after the first allegations of child abuse. The sales figures for History were only about 10 million and most of the purchasers wanted the greatest hits CD and the large illuatrated booklet. By this stage he had already proved he was barmy including a spooky mural of him surrounded by children of the world and a list thanking a man called Bruce Sweiden, who can only be descibed as his boy friend or boy procurer. Also the J Randy Taraborelli book claims employees at Neverland often found photos of Michael and Boys messing around and kept a stock of child pornography videos at the mansion and forced the children to watch it, while he got them drunk, drugged and played with their genitals. Also 1997s Blood on the Dancefloor was a mega flop and the Invincible album was a joke selling less than 2 million copies worldwide. The gimmick of 5 different colored sleeves did not help. But even Dangerous sounded tired and I remeber that he released at least 7 singles off and they were sold in a Michael Jackson cassingle dispenser, the height of arrogance along with the giant statues floating down rivers in 1995. Even if the album comes out, it would maybe sell one million if its lucky and Jackson owes Sony at least 300 million dollars 17 Years ago I made a commitment to Prince

1. The Future (Jackson, Adams)
The first song on Prince's 'Batman' album is called "The Future".Surely Michael wouldn't wanna be seen as a copycat, lol. 3. B Me 4 a Day (Jackson)
Sounds like another one of those "Have-sympathy-for-me-because-I-had-a-fucked-up-childhood"-type songs Let it go,Michael!

Even if the album comes out, it would maybe sell one million if its lucky and Jackson owes Sony at least 300 million dollars Wow. Where to begin? First off, Bruce Swedien is a studio engineer. A close friend of both Quincy Jones and MJ. As for the rest of the child molestation accusation, I am not going to address it because it is so preposterous (hint: you are getting your information from a book). If you are so concerned, report your concerns to the police. As for the sales figures, wow. HIStory sold much more than 10 million. Blood on the Dancefloor is a remix album with only four to five new songs. It is the best-selling remix album so far. Second on that list if Madonna's You Can Dance. As for Invincible, yes, it was his lowest-selling studio album. But it sold more than 2 million worldwide. And owning SONY 300 million dollars? I suggest you read the Forbes and New York Times articles on MJ's finances instead of tabloid magazines and books. And I noticed you did not respond to my correction of your post about the so-called two suspicious official tracklists. Hint: neither is official. Also, I noticed that you corrected yourself on another point. Now he was popular until 15 years ago instead of 25? How often are you going to correct yourself? [Edited 2/1/08 5:39am]

Invincible did not sell 10 million copies. The most credible figure is 6 million. The album bombed in most territories, selling well in the first week then plummeting immediately afterwards. “The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”

For thinking that you need to read credible news sources such as the New York Times which while has its faults is better than US Weekly? [Edited 2/1/08 10:04am]

It was sent to me after a lengthy MSN chat where he claimed to know the release date and track list of the new album. Here it is, straight from the horse's mouth (Sony BMG, that is)...
TITLE: HIStory Book II ARTIST: Michael Jackson RELEASE DATE: May 20, 2008 1. The Future (Jackson, Adams) 2. Say It Loud [feat. will.i.am] (Brown, Ellis) 3. B Me 4 a Day (Jackson) 4. Never Again (Jackson, Legend) 5. I'm Dreamin (Jackson, Adams) 6. The Pain (Jackson, Jerkins) 7. Pressure (Jackson, Jerkins) 8. Seduction (Jackson, Jerkins) 9. Do You Want Me? (Jackson, West) 10. You Are So Beautiful (Jackson) 11. I Have This Dream (Jackson, Bayer Sager) 12. Watch Over Me [feat. Prince, Paris and Blanket] (Michael Jackson, Prince Michael Jackson, Paris Katherine Jackson, Prince Michael Jackson II) Sounds interesting, doesn't it? You'll notice some revamped Invincible out-takes with the help of Darkchild. It looks like the only brand new songs are the ones done with will.i.am, John Legend and Kanye West, although I've heard the title of the track supposedly co-written by West a few years ago. I think it's a revamped Invincible out-take too. The most interesting tracks are the last two. I'm not sure if "I Have This Dream" is the 1999 version of the 2005 Hurricane Katrina version. Also, "Watch Over Me" looks to be by far the most interesting song on the album. It looks likes it's credited to his children, as in they helped write it. Looks like they sing on it too. The fans are going to love that but the press will have a field day saying he's "exploiting" his children or some shit. Anyway, enjoy, and I don't care if you share it around, but don't expect many people to accept as genuine. But trust me it is. P.S. Just like anything else, this tracklist is subject to change between now and May 20. Michael could change a lot of things from track titles to even the album title and release date. We've all experienced MJ pushing back release dates before. So don't be surprised if the real album is not 100% like what I've just emailed you. Peace, ***** (didn't think it was right to post his name) [Edited 1/31/08 4:54am] How do you know he's trustworthy???

Anyway, I don't believe the 10 million figure either but I believe it's sold more than 6 million. I've read in several places that it sold around 8 million. It had sold 5.4m by the end of 2001. Following the Martin Bashir documentary in 2003 sales picked up again in many countries (along with his other albums) and by the end of 2005 it had sold 8.5m. Another few hundred thousand sales in the last couple of years is not unreasonable considering he has one of the most successful back catalogues along with The Beatles and Led Zeppelin. This guy still shifts thousands of albums worldwide every month.
