There is a small chance MJ's new album will be out MAY 2008

So I was surfing YouTube when I found this:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=d_d2zIAsh2o

It is a fanmade ad for Michael Jackson's new album. Mixed in with the
video footage are record labels release dates. Michael's label is towards
the end. However, when it comes to it, it has

Thriller 25 - 2/12

And

The New album in May 2008

Now I'm not saying this is 100% true, because it isn't even confirmed. (As far as I know?) That being said, a lot of the other artists have followed this schedule, and last time I checked, Thriller 25 is coming out in 2/2008. (Like this says.)

Personally, I'm not sure if that could happen, unless MJ is just working his ass off in the studio and has been, and we don't know it. (Some fans think that is the case.)

Does this mean the new MJ album is coming out in May 2008? Anyone know?
And what are these dates coming from? Anyone know?
As of now, I'd say there is a small chance MJ's new album will be out MAY
2008.

Thoughts?

I think you should have the lowest expectations possible for a new album.

So if a new album does not surface this year, you would not be too disappointed. And if it does, you will be thriled.

yeah,I heard about this on another forum. The album contains 16 tracks and is all ready to go.It's tentatively titled DreamDance, this is the tracklist....

MICHAEL JACKSON 'DREAMDANCE'

Dreamdance
The Future
Stranger Things Have Happened
Not Gonna Be The One
Don't Look At Me That Way
That Ain't Love
No Regrets
At Your Service
Come To Your Senses
We Have The Power
Never Again
Dreamin'
She's Over Me
You'd Be Surprised
Overkill
Convince Me To Stay

He's still trying to pick a first single.Sources say it's very likely to be "Don't Look At Me That Way",a loud, defiant number that will feature a rapper.Michael hasn't decided who will do the rap....probably Kanye West, but 50 Cent has been mentioned as well. The song has an angry, defiant chorus....

Don't look at me that way
I'm back and I'm here to stay
Don't look at me that way
cause I don't give a damn what you have to say

I doubt it would have a finalised tracklist months before release. Weren't alot of those songs originally slated for Invincible?

And you know this how?

Well there's this fan in MJ parts who's been getting insider info on MJ for years. I got this emailed to me from him. This is the full email. It was sent to me after a lengthy MSN chat where he claimed to know the release date and track list of the new album.

Here it is, straight from the horse's mouth (Sony BMG, that is)...

TITLE: HIStory Book II
ARTIST: Michael Jackson
RELEASE DATE: May 20, 2008

1. The Future (Jackson, Adams)
2. Say It Loud [feat. will.i.am] (Brown, Ellis)
3. B Me 4 a Day (Jackson)
4. Never Again (Jackson, Legend)
5. I'm Dreamin (Jackson, Adams)
6. The Pain (Jackson, Jerkins)
7. Pressure (Jackson, Jerkins)
8. Seduction (Jackson, Jerkins)
9. Do You Want Me? (Jackson, West)
10. You Are So Beautiful (Jackson)
11. I Have This Dream (Jackson, Bayer Sager)
12. Watch Over Me [feat. Prince, Paris and Blanket] (Michael Jackson, Prince Michael Jackson, Paris Katherine Jackson, Prince Michael Jackson II)

Sounds interesting, doesn't it? You'll notice some revamped Invincible out-takes with the help of Darkchild. It looks like the only brand new songs are the ones done with will.i.am, John Legend and Kanye West, although I've heard the title of the track supposedly co-written by West a few years ago. I think it's a revamped Invincible out-take too. The most interesting tracks are the last two. I'm not sure if "I Have This Dream" is the 1999 version of the 2005 Hurricane Katrina version. Also, "Watch Over Me" looks to be by far the most interesting song on the album. It looks likes it's credited to his children, as in they helped write it. Looks like they sing on it too. The fans are going to love that but the press will have a field day saying he's "exploiting" his children or some shit. Anyway, enjoy, and I don't care if you share it around, but don't expect many people to accept as genuine. But trust me it is.

P.S. Just like anything else, this tracklist is subject to change between now and May 20. Michael could change a lot of things from track titles to even the album title and release date. We've all experienced MJ pushing back release dates before. So don't be surprised if the real album is not 100% like what I've just emailed you.

Peace,

***** (didn't think it was right to post his name)

Cinnie, did you see that? HIStory 2!!!! Full Circle! If this is true, I just might have a favorite new MJ album.

Just wish Teddy and Dallas Austin were a part of it. However, now that I think about it Teddy wasn't on HIStory and Dallas wasn't on that much of HIStory.

Woo!! I hope this tracklisting and especially title are LEGIT. biggrin

It's not the first time MJ has rehashed old songs. The only old songs are B Me 4 a Day (which isn't that old, was written in about 2005 or something), The Pain, Pressure, Seduction (all 3 from the Vince sessions), You Are So Beautiful (also from 2005, not that old) and I Have This Dream (in the works since 1999). I think this tracklist looks legit. I also trust the person who sent it to me.
