I just played "I Wanna Write You A Love Song" a couple of days ago for a friend of mine. We were discussing what is missing from R&B these days and I used that song as an example. The lush string arrangements, changes, crescendos, etc. Dynamics in general are missing. Subtle changes are out of the window. Sorry to veer off topic. David was great. | |
