Anybody feeling Sarah Bareilles? I just got hip to her recently. She's got a vibe that reminds me of Rickie Lee Jones for some reason. I don't know about her other material but "Love Song" is really well done and well constructed. Its nice to see a glimpse of real songwriting these days in the midst of all the pre-formatted crap that Clear Channel churns out.

She opened for Mika on his tour last year when he came to the Fillmore in San Fran. Lots of folks knew who she was though I didn't. She's getting bigger. Christian Zombie Vampires | |

Call me superficial, but I can't get past her nose.  She's a really talented singer and decent songwriter, but her nose looks like a bird's beak. I know this is really harsh to say, and it doesn't reflect at all on her musical abilities (and I bet that she is a really sweet and wonderful human being), but it reminds me of some ethnic families from around my block.
