Well, after the summer of love, it feels weird to be back at the O2 typing on my sidekick. Currently watching biffy clyro (not very good) opening for linkin park.

The stage set up at one end is nowhere near as good as being in the round. But I'm in block 118 so have a decent view of the stage.

The big screens are gone

Anyone else here been to the O2 to see anyone? (Other than Prince obviously)

a couple of times once to see maceo in the indigo which was good but no where near the same as the aftershows they had a barrier up about a metre from the stage which made a difference not because you werent as close to the stage but it kinda made it less personal (i dunno if thats the right term ). the second time i went to see the spice girls obviously i went knowing it wasnt going to be the same but i agree the stage isnt 1/2 as good at one end compared to being in the centre.

it was seriously strange walking into the O2 arena and not seeing the symbol stage it looked wrong
