Madonna's new album title is 'Hard Candy' according to EW.com
Entertainment weekly website reports about Madonna's new album and claims that its definitive title is "Hard Candy".Here is what they say: The title of Madonna's forthcoming album will be Hard Candy,EW.com has learned exclusively. The record, her last studio effort for Warner Bros.,includes a track called "Candy Store". Madonna chose to stick with the sweet theme because "she loves candy",says her longtime rep Liz Rosenberg."It's about the juxtaposition of tough and sweetness,or as Madonna so eloquently expressed,"I'm gonna kick your ass,but it's going to make you feel good." The album, which features Justin Timberlake on multiple tracks and production by Pharrell Williams,Timbaland and Nate "Danja" Hills, will see a U.S. release on April 29.The first single "4 Minutes" will be out at the end of March.

Latest News on "4 Minutes To Save The World"
Our friend and collaborator DaGo spoke to a DJ of a major US radio station (one of the three major markets in the USA).We cannot reveal his name, but can add that he has been influential with Madonna airplay over the years. Here's what he said to DaGo: ***As of now,"4 Minutes To Save The World" is not being premiered for another 4 weeks. ***He does not have a copy, but the Senior Vice President of WB played it for him. ***Justin Timberlake is on it as much as Madonna. ***Timbaland doesn't rap on it but more kinda sings like he usually does. ***He's pleasantly surprised with it."It's really, really good",he says."It's the best I've heard from Madonna in years and it's very 'orchestral'". More news comes from Warner Music Italy, which says that "4 Minutes To Save The World" will be premiered on the radio at the end of March. But the strange thing is that they also say the video will be premired in mid-March on the most important networks. Oh my, I'm shocked!
I just read what someone posted on drownedmadonna: Supposed interview with Mariah Carey's label boss. Category: Interviews & Statements. Here's an excerpt from a supposed interview with Mariah Carey’s label boss LA Reid who talkes about Madonna: Have you always been a Mariah Carey fan? I’ve been a fan since "Vision of Love" and think she is the greatest singer ever to walk the planet. She makes all the other "divas" look like "divers’ if you know what I mean. Even Madonna? (He chuckles). Who’s Madonna? No really, nothing against Madonna. She is someone who took mediocre talent and through self promotion, became a huge star. You have to give her credit for that. But she’s making a huge mistake releasing an album at the same time as Mariah this Spring. Is Mariah Aware that Madonna is releasing her album two weeks later? She’s very aware but doesn’t feel threatened. Madonna hasn’t had a hit - at least in the USA - for ten years so she’s not competition at all. If it's true, I really hope his and her inflated ego will burts once for all having a bombing album Who does she think she is? She's not Madonna, unfortunately for her

[Edited 2/27/08 4:24am] Yes it does. We will see how this will unfold but I'm not hopeful about this at all. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

The questions and comments about Madonna are so unspontenous. Petty and sad from someone who thinks his words matter. Anyone think that the news about the album breaking right after Janet fans are blogging and posting all about "Discipline" is not a coincidence either. Good timing. This upcoming album might not be good, but she is smart!

Yeah the interview is fake simply for the fact that as dumb as LA may be at times, hes not stupid, you dont shoot your mouth off like that, especially about an artist that has been out longer than Mariah and at the end of the day will probably make a more interesting album with more worldwide longevity. That tracklist was revealed by Sonia Kruger from Australian radio station MIX 106.5,who had the chance to listen to the new Madonna album 'Hard Candy' in Los Angeles just before she interviewed the pop star. Here's her view of the album:
"I quite enjoyed the new album--lots of songs are relationship-based and there's this one particular track which is a classic dance track. The first single "4 Minutes" has a great marching band feel to it-loved it! All the tracks have fantastic energy and there's not a single track on the album that's not a winner--brilliant stuff".
