My excitment level for this Hard Candy CD is not high at all as was the case with PE. It wasn't like that when COADF was about to drop, or 3121 if I'm going to do a comparison and I liked them both a lot. I'll be hopeful and maybe I'm tripping over nothing but based on what I've heard already, it's not looking good. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

It has 8 million plus subscribers! I haven't listened to anything on Sirius this week other than Howard. I wonder what station(s) is/are playing the songs. "Feedback" got played on the dance pop station, the hot hip-hop station and the Urban Ac station (not sure if it ever hit the Top 40 one). The Beat is still playing ALL FOUR singles from COADF, so they are probably playing the shit out of this (they are desperate for good dance pop and rarely go as R&Bish as Janet). With Justin, I don't doubt this is getting a lot of play on the Top 40 station. | |

Why is it that Madonna can select credible dance music producers but is incapable when it comes to rap & R&B? Pharoch Monche, MF DOOM, the RZA, Ghostface Killa, Ceelo, Outkast ... why didn't she offer a great sum of money to these guys? I guess they're not 'pop' enough. Reports are coming in that LiveNation is putting the final touches to a sponsorhip deal for Madonna's 2008/2009 world tour.An insider said: "We are hoping to have tickets go on sale for all locations around May 2nd with pre-sale tickets going on sale on the 1st".They also said the tour will be "huge" with Madonna going to alot of far-out places (Mexico is even being discussed,and Australia is already confirmed).Not surprisingly,tickets are expected to be highly priced with front row sections being charged a premium.Nothing has been officially announced yet but a press release will be issued as soon as the sponsorhip deal is completed.  We barely have time to get excited about the new CD,and now we have to worry about ticket sales?? Being a Madonna fan is never boring,lol. | |
