Foo Fighters. Just bought the new album. I'm divided as to what I think. There are some excellent tracks (Let It Die, Come Alive) but also some pretty bland ones (Summer's End, Cheer Up Boys).
What's the rest of their catalogue like? How does this album fair compared to their others?

I don't have that album yet but I have most of the others and I think the best one is "There Is Nothing Left to Lose" which also contains my favourite song of theirs "learn to fly"
Dave brings it hard every time. IMO the greatest rock performer of his generation. Catch him and the band soon if you get the chance! _ Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...

'The Colour and the Shape' is their best album, already 10 years old. The new album is ok, but it misses some powerriff-tracks (besides 'The Pretender') for which they are best known for. Still, I like this band, you should go see them live while you can. Dave Grohl is a cool fella!
