Santana's "Shaman" - - $9.99 @ K-Mart -- Here's The Scoop!!!

Just saw an ad 4 the latest Santana CD, Circuit City and K-Mart always sell the new releases 4 a little over 10 bucks! I'm gonna b there 2morrow grab that one and the re-release of "E.T." the 2 disc DVD.

Just saw Santana per4m with Michelle Branch on TRL with Carson Daly... she seems sweet and in awe of the legendary lead guitarist, and rightly so. His guitar sounded so sweet... mmm, mmm, mmm.

(fucked up, 9.99 @ Kmart, 10.99 @ Circuit City)

Actually,I'm planning to buy 'Shaman' at Tower Reocrds where it's $11.99.The reason? I also need to pick up Madonna's "Die Another Day" maxi-single,and I doubt that K-Mart will have it smile

You guys may also wanna pick up the "Game Of Love" CD-single because it contains a track that doesn't appear on the album. The song is called "Come To My World".

Confusingly, there are slightly different tracklists for "Shaman" in other countries. The European version of "Shaman" includes an additional track "Let Me Love You Tonight" but it DOES NOT contain the Wyclef Jean track "Since Supernatural" (which appears on the U.S. version).

In addition, the Japanese version includes a song with Marc Anthony "Satellite",which does NOT appear anywhere else sad

Thank God for those file-sharing sites, huh wink

You know what? I wonder why Carlos didn't simply release 'Shaman' as a 2-CD set. When I think of all the songs that got rejected,it just makes me disappointed.Look at all these rejected songs that could have been included if it were 2 CDs instead of one...

"Wishful Thinking" with Chili of TLC
"Satellite" with Marc Anthony
"Lady Bird Blues" with Cee-Lo
"Let Me Love You Tonight"
"Come To My World"
"Manana"
"Love To The People"
"Ath Of My Head"
"(Curacion) Sunshine On Water"
"Keep It Positive"
"Truth Don Die"

He also recorded a song with Whitney Houston "Tell Me No",but it's likely to appear on her own upcoming album.

For the next several months,I'll be going on a "music hunt" trying to find the missing tracks...lol...I'm sure many of these songs will wind up on Kaazaa.

The surprise 4 me is how much I like the track with Musiq on it... "Nothing At All".

Macy Gray's addition is hot 2.

Seal's voice is incredible on "You Are My Kind".

This album offers a lot 4 the ear 2 behold.

I have mixed feelings about the song "America" with P.O.D. It's probabaly the weakest track on the album, imo.

It's great to hear Seal again, though."You Are My Kind" is a nice song.

In all honesty, it sounded better live at the Latin Grammys... yeah, I would agree, it's pretty weak, but I wouldn't count it out, cuz they (POD) has a pretty big following, no? Which, just may b why they're on there. disbelief

What do u think of the track with Placido Domingo on it?

"Novus" is cool.I admit,I've never really listened to Placido Domingo,so I wasn't all that familair with his voice. But,it's a nice collaboration.Carlos frequently mentions this song in interviews,I think he's very proud of this song.

I'm not really a fan of Musiq (his singing usually annoys me for some reason),but on this song,he sounds great!!

"Feels Like Fire" is okay... Dido is average. I really don't know what she's doing on this disc.

I've never heard of Chad Kroeger (that I'm aware of...), but he wrote and sang on this one... and I like it. I'll b checking him out a little more.

The more I listen 2 "Sideways" the more I like it! It had 2 grow on me.

Yeah, Nickleback's Chad Kroeger jams on "Why Don't You & I"... nothing like his "Hemorrhage In My Hands" hit.

I like "Aye Aye Aye",it's one of the few times you get to hear Santana's band,WITHOUT the guest stars.Plus,I think Andy Vargas is a great vocalist.
