I saw a little of that a few years back. He was okay though I was amused that Nichelle Nichols (of Star Trek) was in it. She played a villainess, lol.

Yep. I only know that because there's a double CD reissue with that soundrack along with Tough Guys. He did the soundtrack from both and Geto Boys sampled Hung Up on My Baby from the latter for the song Mind Playin' Tricks on Me.

Lemme guess, Lt. Uhura is either playing a madame or a whore. Which one? lol

Harle!
If you wanna see Isaac Hayes,I suggest you look into
John Carpenter's superclassic "Escape from New York
where Isaac Hayes playes the superpimp villain The Duke of New York.

When I first saw the movie, I was surprised how violant it was. I think that this might be one of the reasons for it's lack of commerical success.

The soundtrack's pretty dope ...

Great movie,,,I really enjoyed it!

I didn't expect much but it was. Isaac's acting is supricingly good, abit jaded like he doesn't want to prove anything which why I like his acting, he should've gotton more leading roles though. Never been that much of a fan of blaxploitation movies coz they portray ALOT of coonery and buffoonery, but this one was a fresh breath of air, I loved the story. You could tell where Quentin Tarantino got his cinematic touch from.

Lt. Uhura was as always strikingly gorgeous, but this wasn't the role for her. She's too much of a grand dame to get down and dirty,,,Pam Grier would've eaten this role up, or maybe Janet DuBois.

Mostly though, love love looooove the soundtrack love

I love all the Blaxplotation movies, when I started collecting DVD'S they were the first ones I searched for. Truck Turner is one of the most action packed of the genre, also one of the best IMO
