Yes he did. If that were me and I knew I didn't molest anyone, we would be all up in that courtroom. I'll be damned if I let you drag my good name in the mud with allegations as serious as child molestation. I firmly believe that he did that cause he was guilty as sin. I've heard arguments that he just wanted it to go away and that it would be easier if he'd pay them off but I can't see an innocent man let something like that go down that easily. MJ is a mess and a dirty mess at that.

And just because some parents were bought off and decided not to pursue to a guilty plea does not mean the man is innocent. MJ fans have Saturn sized blinders on lol

Don't they though? It's scary as hell isn't it? MJ fans suffer from delusions of grandeur, just like their leader. Michael let it be known that he thought it was beautiful to share a bed with a child. Who the fuck thinks like that? Um, let me think, I think it's a pedophile. eek That's nasty. Michael, damn damn damn.

Of course not.

However, read the documents. The people who have made comments such as, "And just because some parents were bought off and decided not to go to court does not mean the man is innocent" have not read the documents. If there was enough evidence, the prosecution would have had no choice but to pursue a criminal trial. There is a difference, you know, between civil and criminal.

Read the documents if you are so interested in Michael Jackson.

I take it you didn't read than? lol? You need help? Do you want me to hold your hand to? You may also need to read this as well, seeing that your vocabulary is limited, and unaware of anything that isn't ABC simple. http://en.wikipedia.org/w...urt_of_law

AGAIN. When MJ paid his settlement, he was settling a civil case not a criminal case; he was not being prosecuted, he was being sued. There is a clause in the settlement which states that MJ in no way acknowledges any wrongdoing by signing the settlement. There is another clause which specifically states that a settlement in the civil case in no way affects the recipients’ right to testify in a criminal case. The DA presented the case to two grand juries, and both of them turned them down because there was not enough evidence. MJ did not offer money, he was being sued by the father.

Entire document
http://www.sbscpublicacce...prtobj.pdf

So you are playing fucking SEMANTICS. Michael didn't personally pay off the family, his insurance company did. THAT MEANS THERE WAS A SETTLEMENT WITH THE FAMILY!. And why is the insurance company paying for something that never happened?

Wow.

Did you even read the document you posted?

Where did I say that a settlement was not made? I explicitly wrote that there was a settlement. Again read the documents. Since you are so interested in Michael Jackson, consult a lawyer or a law professor about the language of the documents.

I agree Rodya. I have to say that I think it's funny how Michael fans are always accused of being deluded and in denial, but at least y'all use FACTS (i.e. court transcripts) to back up your claims and arguements about him being innocent.

Michael detractors on the other hand talk a whole lot of mess, but don't back it up with any ACTUAL FACTS and that's the difference there. The thing is that they are so biased and set in their mind frame that he is guilty that they're not even willing to even consider the possibilty that he could be innocent. I mean as much as I love Michael, at least I try to look at it from both sides. I have considered that there may be a possibilty that he might have been guilty because afterall I was not there. I did not see what happened, therefore I can't say i'm 100% sure either way. However based on the transcripts i've read about the last case i'm inclined to believe that he is not guilty in that 2003 case.

There are things about the 1993 case that still bother me though so I really need to read those transcripts again but it just seems so unlikely to me that someone would molest children ONCE EVERY ten years. It just makes no sense whatsoever. I have NEVER in my entire life heard of a pedophille who only molests children once every ten years so if Michael did do it, then he must be the most selective pedophille in the entire world rolleyes.

People would be far more generous to Mike on this and all other issues if he weren't so clearly lying about it. To try and palm those white kids off as his own is an insult to all of us. We are not morons, but he obviously thinks we must be. The other reason people use hostile language about this issue is because they suspect (quite reasonably) that he chose not to have a child from his own seed because he didn't want to see a reflection of his own blackness. And there is another reason. In 1993 Michael was arrested on charges of paedophilia. Ask yourself, how many suspected paedophiles are normally allowed to raise other people's children? Adoption procedures are extremely rigorous, and under normal circumstances no-one who had ever been arrested on those charges would be allowed to adopt. Mike was obviously able to bypass all the normal procedures, and his money was what made it possible. That's why people use the word "bought".
I don't know what your circumstances were, but they were probably different. I had a friend who was adopted in school, and I never heard anyone tease him about it. Sorry, you found yourself with a nastier bunch of people.

Well I don't know about any of that, I can't say I agree there and I'm a big Michael fan but for once I have to say that you have brought up some valid points.

I just think it's too much of a coincidence that not only has Michael's skin color changed (due to vitiligo or skin bleaching, depends on what you believe) and being that he is someone who is seen as a self hating black man (and understandably so) would have three children who all look almost completely white. I've often wondered if Michael would ever have a child with a black woman or adopt a black child but who know's really? I would really like to see Michael do an interview one day where he finally addresses all of this (i.e. allegations, self hate issues, etc.).

You need to get the words "for once" out of that sentence. I ALWAYS bring up valid points. Always. As for the adoption issues anyone will tell you it is a NIGHTMARE trying to adopt. The process takes years and involves all kinds of checks. Under normal circumstances, no suspected paedophile would EVER qualify to adopt a child.

He did on Oprah Winfrey in 1993. Despite being a 2 hour (or more) long interview, it was not as in depth as it should of been.

My opinion on the race of his children is...he wanted to be a father. Lisa already had two when they were together, and didn't want anymore, so she admitted later that the whole time she was with MJ she was on the pill. His dermatologist is the first one who offers to be a mother to his children, he accepts. Had it been any other woman, black white asian latina etc, he would of obliged. As far back as 1979, he always mentioned wanting to adopt an african child (ironically, he spoke a lot about children in that JET 1979 and among similar interviews, yet no one thought anything of it) and things like that.

Ebony: Any Black ladies in your life?

Michel: “Sure, but you wouldn’t take me seriously.”

Ebony: Try me.

Michael: “It’s Diana Ross. I love her.”

Ebony: Do you mean as a “big sister?”

Michael: “No, that’s not what I mean. See, I told you that you wouldn’t take me seriously.”

Ebony: You’re not saying you’d like to marry Diana Ross, are you?

Michael: “Oh yeah, I’m saying that.”

Ebony: But she’s so much older than you. Yo mean you feel something other than close friendship for her?

Michael: “Uh huh. And what does age have to do with it? Look at it this way: how old would you be if you didn’t even know hold old you are?”

***

MOONWALK

“So Diana didn’t find us first, but I don’t think we’ll ever be able to repay Diana properly for all she did for us in those days. When we finally moved to Southern California, we actually lived with Diana and stayed with her for more than a year on a part-time basis. Some of us lived with Berry Gordy and some of us with Diana, and then we would switch. She was so wonderful, mothering us and making us feel right at home. She really helped take care of us for at least a year and a half while my parents closed up the Gary house and looked for a house we could all live in here in California. It was great for us because Berry and Diana lived on the same street in Beverly Hills. We could walk up to Berry’s house and then go back to Diana’s. Most of the time I’d spend the day at Diana’s and the night at Berry’s. This was an important period in my life because Diana loved art and encouraged me to appreciate it too. She took the time to educate me about it. We’d go out almost every day, just the two of us, and buy pencils and paint. When we weren’t drawing or painting, we’d go to museums. She introduced me to the works of the great artists like Michelangelo and Degas and that was the start of my lifelong interest in art. She really taught me a great deal. It was so new to me and exciting. It was really different from what I was used to doing, which was living and breathing music, rehearsing day in and day out. You wouldn’t think a big star like Diana would take the time to teach a kid to paint, to give him an education in art, but she did and I loved her for it. I still do. I’m crazy about her. She was my mother, my lover, and my sister all combined in one amazing person.”

“Life was very good. Diana, of course, put the cherry on top.”

“Motown bought The Wiz for one reason, and as far as I was concerned, it was the best reason possible: Diana Ross.”

“The problems on the set were really few and far between and it was great working with Diana so closely. She’s such a beautiful, talented woman. Doing this movie together was very special for me. I love her very much. I have always loved her very much.”

“Diana’s singing and dancing and acting have stayed with me ever since. She was a perfect Dorothy”

“Ours developed into a real close relationship. I fell in love with her [Tatum O’Neal] (and she with me) and we were very close for a long time. Eventually the relationship transcended into a good friendship. We still talk now and then, and I guess you’d have to say she was my first love - after Diana. When I heard Diana Ross was getting married, I was happy for her because I knew it would make her very joyous. Still, it was hard for me, because I had to walk around pretending to be overwhelmed that Diana was getting married to this man I’d never met. I wanted her to be happy, but I have to admit that I was a bit hurt and a little jealous because I’ve always loved Diana and always will.”

“I was asked a lot of questions about “Muscles,” the song I wrote and produced for Diana Ross. That song fulfilled a lifelong dream of returning some of the many favors she’s done for me. I have always loved Diana and looked up to her. Muscles, by the way, is the name of my snake.”
