I loved "Believe" then and I still like it now. It reminds me of my last year of college. music

Aaaah!

1999 was a great year for Cher! I worked at Virgin Megastore and remember selling the HELL outta the CD and all the Maxi-Singles...she was unstoppable...and was just a fun time going out to clubs and losing it to the 'All or Nothing' remix!!!!!

Having said that...she's due for her 2009 comeback next year....she always manages to stike a chord at the end of each decade..

1979 - 'Take Me Home'...huge disco hit
1989 - 'If I Could Turn Back Time' her biggest hit to date..'Heart of Stone' album huge
1999 - 'Believe'
2009 - ? Vegas residency confirmed....what else???

...

Yeah,Cher always seems to make a late-decade comeback lol In the middle of each decade, she kinda disappears then bounces back with a HUGE hit just as the decade is ending...

***1979---she jumps on the disco bandwagon with "Take Me Home",her biggest hit in years

***Late 80s---she's now into trendy,synth-rock/pop and makes a late-80s comeback ("If I Could Turn Back Time" from 1989)

***Late 90s---she tries dance/electronica and has the biggest hit of her career "Believe",in 1999.

And now it's near the end of another decade lol Just about time for another Cher comeback.Wonder what kinda music she will be doing next?

Believe used to give me chills and takes me back to my high school days for sure.

You know which song is so underrated from her? Her Laura Branigan cover of I Found Someone, loooove it!

Yeah, that was her big 80s comeback. A couple of years before If I Could Turn Back Time.
