Edith Piaf!!! Padam! Padam! Padam!
Oh, how much I love this woman's voice, her attitude, her legacy. I love how she cuts off the applause at the beginning with that sharp had gesture. Silence! ('Silence!' should be read as the French word, of course) And I am SO glad Marion Cotillard got an oscar nomination. I hope she wins. She deserves it. [Edited 1/22/08 11:43am] |
