Do you mean all her albums including the ones from the '90s?

I want to buy the Like a Prayer and Erotica albums (hard copies) but have been hesitent to do so because of a suspicion that they will be remastered soon.

Does anyone know why Warner Brothers did not remaster Like a Prayer along with Madonna, Like a Virgin, and True Blue?

And biggrin about the box set!

I wish they would take off the original verion of Express Yourself on Like A Prayer...tame and terrible

Did You Do It was taken off of my copy of Erotica...hmm...

I agree....the bass-heavy remix of "Express Yourself" is superior to the album version. After you've heard the remix,it's hard to appreciate the regular version lol

Looks like you got the "clean" version of 'Erotica' lol You're not missing much though."Did You Do It" is filler.....fun filler, but filler nonetheless.

Madonna's always been pretty stingy with the unreleased tracks, so eventual remasters with unreleased tracks would be welcome. Or maybe there's a good reason they've not seen the official light of day. lol

And, Mike, while I do consider Ray of Light to be one of her best albums, I also agree that I'm Breathless is as well. It's overlooked by a lot of fans, but the songwriting on it is very good. I like the cohesive theme of the songs, and the production is excellent. I always compare it to Donna Summer's I Remember Yesterday - an era-themed album topped off with a genre-defining dance song.

Yep...I'm Breathless is a gem. Madonna is the ultimate cabaret performer imo

Don't mock me! It's dated. It's a William Orbit album featuring Madonna...just that!

Madonna's Top Three albums:

'Erotica'
'Ray Of Light'
'Like A Prayer'

hmph!

Madonna's Top Three albums:

'Erotica'
'AMERICAN LIFE'
'Like A Prayer'

hmph!

True Blue, Like A Prayer and Ray Of Light

But American Life without a doubt is better than anything Prince, Michael and Janet released this decade

Throw Ray of Light and Bedtime Stories in there and I agree with you.

Ray of Light is very...overrated. I think I'm breathless is superior

I think ROL is overrated but I don't think I'm breathless is a better album.

American Life is one of her better albums everything from Love Profusion on is great.
Nobody Knows Me
Nothing Fails
Intervention
Easy Ride are some of my favorite Madonna tracks.

I checked some of the songs on American Life on YouTube. A couple of them I liked. But I think I need to hear the CD in full to decide whether or not I like it.

Do you know why Warner Brothers has not remastered Like a Prayer yet?

omg

the thin layers and emty space just doesnt do it for me on this album other than Nobody Knows Me and Die ANother Day
Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.
