Lenney Kravitz: New single "I'll be waiting"

Heard new track from the forthcoming new CD Love Revolution and was very impressed. Good video too

Yes I agree it is a beautiful song and it will be successful.
I actually heard this song a month ago, one of my good contacts at a flea market selling vinyls had it on a cd (I don't how), but I liked the song instantly lol

Yeah I like it. It's nothing special as a song, but Lenny has again returned to using the type of sounds / instrumentation that he knows best (pardon me my ignorance if they were prevailent also on his last two albums - I haven't really listened to them). That's exactly how each instrument should sound like on a rock record in my mind, even down to the intentionally clumsy and boxy drums.

Return of the Mama Said / Be My Baby -strings too!

Yeah I'm loving "I'll Be Waiting" too. "Bring It On" is great too (check his www.myspace.com/lennykravitz for that one) and if you search youtube for "Lenny Kravitz Love Revolution" you will find a video where he's talking about the new album and throughout most of the video you can hear the title track "Love Revolution" and I'm really digging that one a lot. The new album looks like it's gonna be great and I gotta agree that it seems really good like on the Mama Said tip! Can't wait for it to come out already.

I've heard both on various Sirius stations (the adult singer songwritery rock station is playing "Bring It On" as recently as yesterday and I think I heard "I'll Be Waiting" on the nineties and now station). Both are good but basically sound so pedestrian and like stuff he has done before. I hope the album has some good stuff.

One of his most effortless and appealing ballads in awhile.
I like it.

Part of mw wishes I hadnt clicked that blasted link, and the other more sensible side is screaming "Thank you". I wont be buying this.

"I'll be waiting" is enjoyable enough, but damn, whats up w/ the drumming on this piece(the album as a whole). I mean, simple isnt even the word. I wont trash it, cause its not my style, but...

"Long Sad Goodbye = comfortably numb + Bohemian Rhapsody(instead of Mama it's Papa)

Dancin til Dawn = Straight On(by HEart) + Miss You (THe Stones)

THeres a few Beatles rips....I could go on. Man, this is disappointing.

I'll prob. always check for Lenny's music, and he is a good live performer so I usually check for his live shows, but I dont know that I'll ever buy any of his albums again.

It’s okay but sadly, it doesn’t make me want to do anything… dance, nod my head or more importantly, give it another spin.
Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off
