Your Favorite "Guilty Pleasures?" The music you wouldn't necessarily want people to see you listening to.
My latest are: Air Supply Carpenters I'm kind of in the Kurt Cobain suicidal ironic music phase. Y'all????

I've been told I should be ashamed of myself for being an avid Backstreet Boys fan, but fuck it. Why like something if you're going to be embarassed about it? "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

The fact that they are together is cool. And while I am not a fan of most of their catalog, I think "I Want It That Way" is one of the greatest pop songs of the past decade.

Is Yoko Ono a guilty pleasure?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I do love Agnetha's voice
Yoko Ono is just a pleasure. I see most guilty pleasures are pop music. my first ever favourite group was ABBA, (back when tey started ) and I've always been a sucker for a good pop album so I?ve lost all sense of shame regarding music. I´m too old not to listen to the music I like for what others might think of me. Viva pop forever!

You reminded me I bought their Greatest Hits CD+DVD when I was doing my Xmas shopings and didn't give it away to anybody. I don't even remember where I left it so it must be there , still sealed, somewhere at home

My brother who is not a pop fan at all had 2 copies of their first album (the other belonging to his wife) so he gave me the extra one only last year. I couldn't listen Wannabe completely. It sounded so dated!!! so I haven't listened to that album either yet

Never understood the concept of "guilty pleasure" - why be guilty about anything that you like? Maybe when I was like 16! Be proud of your likes and proclivities and do it up right!

In fact I'm through a phase in which the more wtf! the better. I've been hanged on the Argentinian group Miranda! for over a year now. This is the first thing I saw/listened about them and it couldn't be more wtf!!! but I had to watch it again and again and before I even noticed I had their complete discography
