Not really. I don't think Prince and Patti had that great of chemistry. The stuff they did together was ok, but nothing special. they did nothing 2gether: i mean i don't think they ever were in a studio 2gether, back in the 80's Prince used 2 sent tapes of songs and the artists only rerecorded the vocals and i think that's how it happened with Patti. | |

What i meant is that they didn't discuss the choice of songs and the arrangments like Prince did, 4 example, with Chaka Khan on "Come 2 My House", 4 Patti, Prince choose the songs and send them and Patti took 'em the way they were and added vocals. Therefore these 3 songs tell nothing about the alchemy thay could or could not xist between them in a studio. | |
