Fuckin 'ey man....!

Y'know, I really thought I out-grew this song.
But the fuckin' thing has been on a nonstop rotation on my computer ever since I first read thread yesterday.
My gf just past my studio, heard it, & said "You're still listening to that song...?!"

Bitch.

This song was very popular in New York in the early 80s

My question..... is what exaclty are the lyrics in the chorus:

"A....E....A, E, I, O, U.....

(here's the tricky part):

"and sometimes Y"

or

"I sometimes cry"

"I sometimes cry"

Now that's what I'm talkin' bout!!!

My bf is convinced it's "sometimes Y" but I insist it's the other. smile

Wow, I haven't seen the movie Beat Street in decades. After seeing it in the theater, I don't think I've ever even rented it or watched it on TV.

ahh hell just watch this lol

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

I love 'Beat Street' lol Out of all the breakdance/early hip-hop films,I like 'Beat Street' the best.Unlike 'Breakin' and the others,'Beat Street' actually has a strong storyline. It's not just a bunch of kids dancing around, lol. You should get the DVD,it'll bring back ALOT of fun memories, for those of us who remember that exciting period. The soundtrack is also very good.
