Marilyn Manson and Twiggy Ramirez back together!

The duo that brought us Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals and Holy Wood are finally back together after a 5-6 year split. They're currently touring the US and will go into the studio after the tour to make another album.

This is great news. What's even more awesome is that they were both on the Loveline radio show and it was like the last 5 to 6 years never existed. They were both talking and acting like their old selves. They both needed to get back together I think. Neither of them were the same without each others. I know that makes them sound like gay lovers or something, but you never know.

For the first time in ages Marilyn Manson feels like a band again. They just need to get John 5 back and their set.

I have a feeling the new album will be more Antichrist Superstar style than Mechanical Animals style. Which means less synths more rock.

hmm. wonder if this has nothing to do with madonna wayne gacy leaving the band.

Mechanical animals is the only good manson album thought, the rest are KRAP.

Holy Wood is miles better than MA.

not really, holy wood sounded like antichrist part two.
for example, disposable teens is obviously "the beautiful people" part two, just slower.

manson could have been a good glam rock band. but no..he had to go for the heavy metal approach.

Old quote from White/Ramirez from a few years back:

“I miss it sometimes. There’s a lot of parts of my life that I like so much better now. One of the reasons I’m not in [Marilyn Manson] anymore is that I started to feel a little ridiculous. . . . The time period I was in that band I meant it, all the theatrics onstage, all the characters, so to speak, without sounding too stupid or pretentious. The Twiggy Ramirez character was real. And then it began to start to feel like Gene Simmons or something. ‘Oh, I gotta put my dress on to go play.’ If I were to do that again I probably wouldn’t be that same person. I wouldn’t just do the Kiss reunion and throw the dress on and smear my makeup and start doing a bunch of drugs.”

We'll see wink

Sorry, but AntiChrist Superstar was THE best Manson record, hands down. Mechanical Animals was good, but it wasn't Antichrist at all!

I see Holy Wood as more of a mix of AS and MA. It was heavy metal (AS) mixed with glam/synth rock (MA). The lyrical content on HW was better too. It was right after to Columbine shootings so he had a lot to say.

OH, so that's what it was about.

He's a dumb bitch isn't he.

I hate these tools that take that attitude. I mean I admire the maturity and everything behind that, but dude, you're an ass.

or maybe he's just covering for the fact that drugs got the best of him?

Personally, I'm happy to hear this news! After losing Gacy and John 5, it's good that he has one of his stronger collaborators back with him.

That's a good way to go about it, but Antichrist is just a superior record all around. Maybe you should take another listen man. It's like comparing Sign O' times to The Gold Experience. Although both are good, one is clearly more HOT

I've always thought Mechanical Animals was better. I just dig the glam vibe.

thank you, personally marilyn manson is corny, to me. also the fact he essentially stole his whole look from bowie , rozz williams, alice cooper and virgin prunes does not help either. but, i do have to give props on mechanical animals, it was uh.. glam and with a hint of funkiness. but i have to comment on one thing the comment of manson ripping people off, it has come to my attention that alot of bands, etc do that. but its the principle, if your going to rip off do it creatively, don't come out as a mundane rip off.
