Nice choice, i love this disc and i love the ladies too!

I like how the sound throughout the entire El Perro Del Mar album is eerie 60s pop. It goes great with Camera Obscura's latest. I was tempted to put them on the comp, but thought they might be too well known.

lol

yeah right! maybe in your circle. i started a thread here once about El Perro and i think it got one reply and 4 views. confused

Yeah, a name like 'Camera Obscura' you'd think would be perfect for an obscure songs comp. But because the band has released three albums and the song I chose was a single, I nixed it. Meanwhile I just found out the Noisettes song I chose was in the series finale of The Sopranos. Everyone has seen that! Crap. pout

I think I saw your El Perro Del Mar thread, but it was already very old by the time I got the album otherwise I would have posted on it.

HELL YEAH x 2.

Moonbeam, I notice you got a mix of Chromeo, LCD and the like in your year-end set. I really recommend a track called "Stillness In Time" by Calvin Harris. It's a Jamiroquai cover and it's on the BBC Radio 1 40th Anniversary comp. Really hot song.
