Q magazine has been crap for eight years.

Is there anything on this list that we didn't already know?

I had no idea that Madonna went out with Prince...while she was still married to Sean Penn! I wonder what he thinks of Prince!

I don't mind Madonna, she has personality.

But I do feel that her "shock values" stunts she pulls every once in awhile are pretentious and without aim(hence the I like fuckin' with people's minds).

She and Prince are 2 faces for the same coin, as far as their personalities are concerned.

Italian opera star Luciano Pavarotti is hoping to duet with pop queen Madonna.
The singer said it was his dream to be able to duet with Madonna in his home town of Modena.

Pavarotti said she had promised to sing an Italian baroque aria, Caro Mio Bene, with the singer one day in the future.

"Madonna has a very clear idea. She promised to come if we sing together Caro Mio Bene and I'm very interested.

"She told me in confidence. I have asked her but she has been busy - first she makes the baby and then, I don't know."

Say what I will about Madonna, dang if I didn't read most of that.

Someone explain 2 me what the point of Q mag is, these days..

This is not a trustworthy article. I just saw the first two points and saw this..."Bob Dylan was a big influence on Madonna" Errr, no. I remember the interview they're quoting from, and she was asked what she thought of him, and she just said she remembered "Lay, Lady Lay" being a hit when she was young and she liked it, but she said nothing else about him. He certainly was not any kind of influence on her. These types of magazines should generally be avoided.

Q magazine is shit nowadays - and that article is full of crap. Whoever wrote that has skim read one of those sensationalist biogs, and done a quick google search. Methinks they needed to fill a couple of pages this month - shes not even 50 till August.

Oh and to clear up the Madonna Prince thing. The rumour is that they had a short fling in early 1985, around the time she was beginning to date Sean Penn - not when they were married. Only JFK Knr had an affair with her during her marriage, and that was when she and Penn were on a break in 1988.

Also Prince plays on the extended version of Like A prayer (a guitar solo at the end), Act of Contrition, Keep It Together & Love Song. I wish they'd done more stuff together. Too much ego for one record though.

I also doubt whether or not the two had a fling. They definitely hung out abit during this time - turning up to one anothers concerts and such, and have always had a mutual respect for one another - but i think it just fits nicely into the tabloid portrayal of Madonna sleeping around with music types. "Fucking for tracks" they call it now dont they?
