the 20 y.o. album should have been named after one of the songs for example
so excited, enjoy, daybreak the title was a chance ruined

so excited, enjoy, daybreak the title was a chance ruined I agree. The album titles for Damito Jo and 20 Y.O. were part of their downfall. Come on. Twenty Years Old? That just signals mid-life crisis to the general public. Discipline is much better. [Edited 1/13/08 0:39am]

They aren't playing it in Calgary yet. But it is Top 40 at Canadian radio. Request it!

Are individuals hearing it on radio yet? I can't judge terrestrial but two Sirius channels (one dance pop, the other hit R&B) are playing it but not the Top 40 one (although they might be, too...I never listen to it).

Unless you're really listening to radio, I can't help you. Trust the radio numbers coming in.

Feedback was played this morning on LOGO, the gay video channel in the US. Also, the video is featured on gay.com. I'm glad IDJ understands that Janet has a big gay following.

Unless you're really listening to radio, I can't help you. Trust the radio numbers coming in. I do trust the numbers. I just wonder from area to area...are people hearing it? Sirius isn't always the best example of what's going on with radio in general. They had a whole Duran Duran month and kept playing their new songs (the first single still appears every so often on the hit station).

It's funny though that you listened to "Call on Me" when it came out and it bombed but you ain't heard "Feedback" on the radio and it's climbing up on the charts. Damn, homey... but I feel your pain, lol. Ain't u started requesting? I say give it time. Once it hits the top 40, they'll start playing it probably.

The entertainment business is in a bind. They can't afford to continue to hold a grudge against Janet Jackson and that's why she's suddenly getting played on radio and MTV. Right now they need her so they'll "allow" her to be successful.
She will absolutely have a commercial comeback. The business needs all it can get. She should take the power of that comeback and get herself a new millennium style contract and screw the industry the way it screwed her.

The Duran Duran flop was mainly because they sacrificed themselves for an attempt to be "cool" working with Timbaland and Timberlake, but it was a disaster because even their loyal fans were against it for the most part, im more curious to hear the record that SONY "shelved" in favor of the Tim & Tim disaster, since it was viewed as a more "lyrical/rock/negative" record, i think that would have been the smart release, but maybe this is why SONY/BMG is losing ,money and having to drop everyone at this point "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F
