Songwriter-producer Ne-Yo spoke with MTV News recently about his work on Discipline:


"It was great! She's really shy, like painfully shy if you don't know her. But once you get to know her she becomes this whole other person. So it was real cool." He also spoke about the work they did together. "The music came out great, I did three. I did 'Discipline,' which is the title track. I did one called 'Rock Wit U,' that Jermaine Dupri produced. And I did another called 'This Can't Be Good,' that was produced by my Compound Entertainment producers."

Well, I'm listening to the whole album now (the internet's a great thing), and I have to say - speaking as someone who absolutely hated HATED 20 YO and Damita Jo, it's by far away the best thing she's done since Janet. She's completely changed up her sound too. This is damn sexy music too - genuinely so, as opposed to that forced crap she's been peddling.

This is what I've wanted to hear from Janet since All For You.

The only thing is, her voice is barely unrecognizable on the best songs. But I don't care. They're banging.

It's A Wrap For Janet's New CD. "Discipline" Has Leaked All Over The Internet

PLEASE forget for a second that Janet hasn't been doing that much press for her project. Let's also forget that she has yet to find a hit single, and DON'T forget the fact that though her album hits stores next Tuesday the tone seems to be complete non-interest with exception to the "kids." When will she STOP trying to make that comeback?

But, even if you managed to forget all that it's going to be hard to forget that Janet's new album "Discipline" is all over THE internet. And don't forget the eight MUSIC tracks that have already leaked earlier this week. That's right people I am here to report that Ms. Jackson's new project in its entirety is on two music BLOG sites as of now. Of course I will not say where they are but my I'm sure big internet music heads know where to find it. I put some clues here in this blog to assist you in your search.

I predict that Janet's newest album probably won't even crack the top 10 on the Billboard charts.

It's very sad though, I agree. Discipline should have been a worldwide No 1, and the album really deserves to do well but it's great.
