I like "Luv" but for far "Rock With U" is the best track on the unreleased album. "Feedback" isn't far behind. So far it's all good but I want to wait for the album to come out before I hear more.
How is "Feedback" doing on the charts? Radio is loving it even if the single isn't doing all that well with sales anymore.

So, Rock With U is her official second single? Cool. It is a good song.
As for Feedback, where is it on Billboard Hot 100?

There is no way Feedback was going to do extremely well on the charts at this point, so they're trying something new. Now she has multiple songs to perform this month. I'm shocked at this. I thought the video "FeedBack" seemed pretty high budget (well the second half, I guess), thought they had a lot of confidence in the track. But more surprising - why wasn't "Luv" just the lead single all together? I can't believe moreover that they are choosing "Rock with U" over "Luv" - "Luv" is much more radio friendly in my VERY humble opinion. I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

Chances are had they released LUV first, folks would've had a problem with it the way they're having with FEEDBACK. It's just somethin' they'll find that's not right with the material as usual. It doesn't really matter which single she or LA chooses to release, fact is they are always taking a chance cause they, like we don't know how none of her material/singles will be received. But, I'm diggin' all three cuts myself;FEEDBACK, ROCK WITH YOU, and LUV.

Anyways, the response to both Rock With U and Luv is overall good, so I am sure Janet Jackson will have a hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with Discipline. Just a matter of time.

Ciara on an OFFICIAL Feedback duet. This is HOT! They trade off lines.
http://www.zshare.net/aud...397a8df2c/ They need to send this to iTunes NOW. Since the Grammy theme is established and newer artists uniting at the Grammys this year, wouldn't it be HOT if Janet had a surprise performance with Ciara planned???? [Edited 2/1/08 19:02pm]

okay.. this song has a lovely mellow rhythem... BUT.. all those voice over sound affects.. makes me and they sound so cheesy.... when the robotic voice says "i want to rock with you".. oh cheesy is that...
but this is EXTREMLY NICE SONG... its so fresh and different... you don't hear stuff like this on the radio.... it reminds me of the late 90's when i listened to this type of dance music..... I hope she has a cool video for this... and lastly i wish she would have taken out the sound affect for the chorus and just sang it herself...

I love "Rock With U"!
Luv sounds like everything else, but it's growing on me. love is a fate resigned memories mar my mind love it is a fate resigned Over futile odds and laughed at by the Gods and now the final frame Love is a losing game

Rock WIth U and Luv sound like bonus tracks. Hoping they are
ok..just read the tracklist I dont know...Rock With You just sounds kinda cheap..the keyboard in the background and the vocal microsoft sam thing just sound cheap. It needs to thump more. Luv sound liek a song any young girl could sing these days. I know Im the only person that is kinda hatin', but when my roomates heard it too they just kinda passed off on it too. Feedback hit me hard...but these songs just dont give me JANET. J&T is definitley not in the house and it's pretty clear. [Edited 2/2/08 14:42pm] Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

i actually like the feeback remix with ciara, they should do a video together. janet need to start taking advantage of things like this. the 2 new songs are cool, im feeling 'luv' most, now i need to hear the slow songs from the album.im gonna buy janet's albums regardless but i really want her to have a commercial hit just to shut the haters up, i also want her to tour again so i dont care if she jumps on a few bandwagons or whatever it takes to get the general public to buy her album.

i just heard both songs and I am not impressed. Somehow I feel i've heard the song Rock With U before, my brother DJs and I'm sure its similar to a dozen of songs I've heard him play and on Luv, her voice sounds so weak.
Anyway, I still wish Janet the best and she wanted to try something different and ain't nothing wrong with that. She's score big with the club heads and younger audience. I think I look more forward to the tour more than anything else.

I'm undecided on the Ciara remix. I sorta like it but it sounds like a cut and paste job.
Luv is cute not only does it sound like a song any girl could sing, it's incredibly juvenile not just in concept but arrangement. It sounds like something that should have been on her debut album right after Young Love. It reminds me of a filler not a single. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off
