welp, it was recorded in 1981, during the time eno was producing all those classic talking heads albums ("fear of music", "remain in light", as if ya didn't know) - eno and byrne did a side project of instrumental dance music with heavy sampling, and the rest is history. i'm sure if you heard it you'd recognize a couple of tracks from background music on TV or from a movie soundtrack or something. it's a very funky and weird album - exactly what you'd expect from them at the time. and this reissue has 7 bonus tracks and a big fat liner notes booklet, and it's enhanced with a short film in the CD-ROM content. me think you'd like nod

Oh, I know the album. I think you actually gave me my first copy of it. I was just wondering what was included in the deluxe edition. 7 bonus tracks is generous! I'll have to check it out.

I like the album too, I was wondering why the cover art was changed to mostly text.

the cover of the reissue is basically the same - the stripey thing with the text is a cardboard slipcover (i guess that's what it's called) and the CD jewel case is inside, with the original cover. it's very spiffy packaging. i think the stripey cover is the colors from the original cover put into a centrifuge or something lol
