Well I just find "You Can't Win" on IMEEM.com.
I actually prefer the longer version of YCW over the film version. This was also Michael's first solo single since "Just a Little Bit of You" peaked at #23 on the Billboard pop singles chart. It peaked at #81 in 1979. [Edited 1/10/08 13:25pm] [Edited 1/10/08 13:27pm] | |

Right. Here's goes.
So there is a song called You can't win which was a 7:18 version - this has been rereleased on numerous occasions on CD and other 12"s like Liberian Girl. sometimes it's called Full version, sometimes it's called extended version, but it's the same cut. There was a 7" - 7.18 don't fit on one side of a 7 so they split it up - a side (part one) and b side (part two). Then there was TGIM 7" of which the b side was CGOTR - which is exactly the same as the bside of the original (YCW part two). Incidently this is why the change to "can;t get outta the rain" - because towards the end that's a lyric - which is obvioulsy in YCW part two. Because err, CGOTR *is* YCW pt. 2. all confimed by Matt Forger in the past. | |

And as has been reported on the booklet, "Michael Jackson: The Ultimate Collection", the original song, "You Can't WIN", was actually a Billboard charted single peaking at #81 on the chart and #42 on the R&B chart. | |

Don't see much difference to be honest with you. YOU CAN'T WIN.... its definitly NOT the exact same melody but very similar.. actually YOU Cant win sounds better that is why they choose it...  @ Timmy

The album version wont be any different to the version that leaked years ago. It's nothing more than a Dangerous outtake that they are trying to pass off as a Thriller outtake. No Thriller-era vocals. Not even very recently record vocals. Just a CD quality version of the shit in the first post of this thread. | |
