Musically she has become more predictable in the years because its all formula, her albums seem to all have this similar blueprint to them, down to things like "hip producer this year" "hip rapper this month" "cover song" though on MIMI she didnt do a cover, this is why her albums have no real identity, if someone mentioned a non-single, even fans would be, which album is that on?? Its just an artistic flaw that she has. I mean i think we can all pretty safely assume that Maraih wouldnt come out with a strong heavy dance-track with a guitar in the background, but whats troubling is that we can predict that she will never do it. LA Reid, actually chose Say Somethin' as the first single which she didnt like , and didnt take off, and then she chose "Its like that" which I would have agreed with L.A S.S was the better song,but there you go.. I thought It's like that' was so bad as first single and average as a song(excpet in a club, I was "ahh that what it sounds like) damn my cheap speakers, it sounded like a hot vibrating mess of too much bass and rattle) . I really hope though they didnt forget (or maybe it was just a few of us) but the heart of that album and what made it so listenable was the soul tracks ...tracks 4 onwards excluding Too floor and Get yo number. the JD tracks were added by request of the label after it was recorded and during, imagine what the real vision for it was and the tracks those replaced (ie When I feel it) Sad but her best work wont come until she's irrelevant and doesnt have to care about sales, however she knows how to make a good pop/r&b album,just for fans like us, we been there with her, but these new and some young fans its all new.. When I Feel It. It seemed like it was gonna be a warm very musical record b4 the JD tracks. Im glad most of em made it through. Every song on it was good except for One And Only. lame..
