keyboardwizard Bernie Worrell,
best known for his inovating work with "Parliament/Funkadelic"
Hopefully this documentary puts some more light

I watched this DVD over the holidays and was blown away by the musical genius of Bernie Worrell. Worrell is not only a concert pianist and a funk keyboard player, but also a creator of new sounds. I understand what he's talking about when he says he hears sounds in the wind that start in the trees, stops, and turns in a different direction... and from those sounds he creates music that makes one think, innovator.

For decades, I along with millions of others have said the song "Flashlight" transcends eras and is a timeless song, and the reason behind that collective thought is the music Bernie Worrell wrote for the song.

Manki, I pre-ordered this before it got released. I'm STILL hyped about it, it gave a new prespective into Bernie Worrell's world.

He played his OWN 1st concerto @ the age of 8 I was shocked to hear that trivia.
