(Jan. 9) - It wouldn't be January without 'American Idol' and it wouldn't be 'Idol' season without a Paula Abdul meltdown.

According to Radar, the reality show judge, who is prone to wacky antics, incoherent interviews and nonsensical speeches, threw a fit in the middle of Los Angeles International Airport over the holidays.




A source tells the Web site, "She had an insane nervous breakdown that lasted 10 minutes. One minute she was hyperventilating and on the verge of passing out; the next she was yelling into her cell phone in this deep, rage-filled Poltergeist voice."

"She kept screaming three names over and over -- Michael, Sidney, and Leslie. Everyone was staring at her, but she didn't care," the source adds.

Last year, Abdul exhibited bizarre behavior during interviews with local television stations. Eventually, videos of the incidents made their way to the Internet, which had many questioning whether the 'Straight Up' singer was drunk at the time.

But Abdul denied those accusations. ""I've never been drunk," she told US Weekly last February.

However, her actions on 'Idol' and her reality show 'Hey Paula' continue to fuel speculation about her sorbriety.

OMG, I believe it. I saw a marathon of her brief 6-episode reality show that aired on Bravo last year. Bitch had a meltdown on nearly every episode about EVERYTHING...it was always something. I couldn't take it. God Bless her entourage for having to deal with that crap.

tell it. I saw that show too and got turned off because she was so damn emotional. She was actually making me want to throw up my food. I think she is having some sort of breakdown that she needs help for. It may had contributed to alcohol, or it may not had, either way, it's very obvious that she has a problem.
