Spice Girls - mainly cos they are the originals i grew up with their music and they were the first band i ever liked and its the first time i can remember people going crazy about a group even at my primary school everyone was collecting cards,stickers anything with their name or picture on

also they were the first concert i went to for my 10 birthday and it was a total surprise last minute thing and they were amazing

also the pussycats dolls dont even have a movie about them

Apart from that, I'd say spice girls. Some crap songs ("stop"), some overplayed songs ("say you be there" "wannabe"), but a few decent enough pop tunes here and there ("2 become 1" "goodbye")

Not really, i mean PCD has only had one album, though i feel that one record was better than anything Spice ever did, i would like to see PCD branch out and lose the american hip producers like Timbalame and Will i am and get more dance europop sounding. Girls Aloud are just a total opposite of what SPICE were, the Spice girls to me were more a novelity, cathcy names and gimmicks. Where as Girls Aloud have carved their own path, and become the most successful girl group in the uk ever, shattering all singles records by charting 17 top 10's in a row.

I doubt it. Rodney Jenkins has an american hip-hop/r&b production sound that was lousy for The Spice Girls. You can't take a dance-pop girl group, change them to Team Brandy and think it going to work within the dance community.
