also they were the first concert i went to for my 10 birthday and it was a total surprise last minute thing and they were amazing biggrin

I'd do 'em all in one giant, bombastic orgy that could only be descibed as a cocaphanistic, shallow, no-talented, shoot-em-up sextravangaza.

Actually I like both of them.

I vote for The Spice Girls because of the better bodies (Mel B & Emma) and a better vocalist (Mel C).

They got the marketing right with them. All equal, no silly names like the spice girls, and targeted at chavvy teens and plebby clubs aswell as kids. I often hear Girls aloud in regular night clubs, and whilst I was too young at the time, I cant imagine many spice girls songs being played in nightclubs?

Apart from that, I'd say spice girls. Some crap songs ("stop"), some overplayed songs ("say you be there" "wannabe"), but a few decent enough pop tunes here and there ("2 become 1" "goodbye")

I don't know who they are ( I'm an old man who doesn't keep up with what the kids like these days) but I googled 'em out of curiosity....

Not really, i mean PCD has only had one album, though i feel that one record was better than anything Spice ever did, i would like to see PCD branch out and lose the american hip producers like Timbalame and Will i am and get more dance europop sounding. Girls Aloud are just a total opposite of what SPICE were, the Spice girls to me were more a novelity, cathcy names and gimmicks. Where as Girls Aloud have carved their own path, and become the most successful girl group in the uk ever, shattering all singles records by charting 17 top 10's in a row.

Mate, it takes about 10 units to get a no. 1 in the UK singles charts these days. The chart has been worthless for about a decade now.

And the best part is the fact that Girls Aloud has never suffer a group break-up yet. None of the other girl groups/bands of the past can say that.

if Geri hadn't left the Spice Girls would have had a much better chart success with the third album.

"holla" was weak for a first single, but if that was the best song on there, then fair enough (though infact "goodbye" was the first single sort of, which is actually a good song and sounds like the last proper spice girls song, before they tried too hard to be rnb)

Yeah i dont think they will, i think when the time comes they will just stop recording, rather than record without a member or change members

I doubt it. Rodney Jenkins has an american hip-hop/r&b production sound that was lousy for The Spice Girls. You can't take a dance-pop girl group, change them to Team Brandy and think it going to work within the dance community. disbelief
