Looks decent. I'm praying that Janet gets it together with this new disc; I'm about ready to love Miss Jackson again.

I finally managed to get the song on my MP3 player (sadly, with some annonying DJ banter, though) and it's a hit with me. I hope it does well or at least well enough if it's a smash.

The video looks almost intentionally campy (she can't be serious, can she?) and is kind of fun unlike the videos from the last two albums that were either too mushy ("Call On Me", "I Want You") or too dark and repeative ("All Nite" and "So Excited"...partically the same video!).

I'd like to think that videos as a promotional aren't useless, though, since not it's all about Youtube. And while I don't have a 200 plus channel monster cable service, I assume some of those million channels out there still play current videos (although I discovered that the video only MTV2 has turned into MTV1's dumping ground for cancelled shit!). With entertainment being more about selecting what you want to watch and hear with cable possibly going a la carte soon and music services like satelite and internet radio (on top of MP3 engines, etc.), I don't think the video as whole is dead...so suck it MTV!

The only channel i remember being this way is the IMF channel which is the International Music Feed, it plays videos from all over 24/7, no monopolys either, meaning you wont get Beyonce 27 times a day. Also i think the Latin Market still does it right, its video stations are almost all video and artist driven playing all types of different latin music, which is why Latin Music is the only genre consistently UP in sales.

I liked the song from first listen, and i can only speak for what i see here in the clubs in NYC... was out every night during the weekend prior to New Years Eve and i can tell you that the response to the song has been crazy...
