I knew Jody Sims back in the day, he was a real asshole! He gave me unwarranted attitude and threw constant shade in my direction because he presumed that a particular record company president was paying more attention to me than to the little side project he was trying to pitch at the time. To me, he had the mindset of a 2 year old. Needless to say, I never got into "Switch" (and his little side project never saw the light of day - I'm just sayin').

The intro kinda' reminds me of THE GAP BAND'S Burn Rubber.
Aww, the 80s! The early 80s were wonderful!

I wasn't even pushing a project at the time. The problem was that Jody perceived that I was receiving more personal attention than his side project. Like I was being treated with more importance than him (which was not the case). It's just that "The Powers That Be" had little interest in what he was trying to promote. Jody was manufacturing the entire conflict in his head, which seemed clear to everyone at the time BUT Jody. He was on some "different shit", or more politically correct: We weren't on the same page.
