eek This from the woman who released "My Everything..." Dang...

Rick James hated her guts too,,,you should read his account on Anita Baker. And lets not 4get the infamous fued with Luther(although to her defence, they were equally bitchy).

She's not very well-liked among her peers and the ones who worked with her.

Doesn't Rick say in his book that Anita is the most stuck up B*#ch he ever met? lol

Damn, I was waiting for somebody else to say that so I'd know it wasn't just me! She gets to rolling those words around in her mouth and I have to read the lyrics to know what they are!

I like Anita, but it's true....sometimes,I can't even tell what she's saying in her songs! This wasn't really the case with 'Rapture',it's more of a problem with the albums that came after.

I know Anita is supposed to be the better vocalist but she just don't move me that much.

To me Sade's whole style is a lot more appealing overall, but I'm biased 'cuz she's my favorite. Love her band too.

Aniters may sound like a drunk Michael McDonald at times, but Sade sounds like she's got happy endings in her throat.

I know that's hot to some of you, but I can't get into it.

That RickJames-esque song of hers is actually hot, and I like Sade, but only in VERY small doses.

Love Sade's voice and her stage presence, by the way, and know guys who just lose it when they see her! biggrin

The only time I ever saw guys lose it just like women was at a Sade show. lol

I like both equally.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really donĀ“t like the idea that he could have it all."

I would never listen to Sade sing acapella....

with Sade its the package...she's weak vocally.

I LOVE both artists, but vocally, I'd have to go with Anita, even though she may be a total bitch. lol . She's 'The Songstress', she can blow, and her range is better.
Lady Cab Driver is one of the greatest songs ever!

Does anyone else like Anita Baker`s "No more tears"? It`s one of my favorites by her, even though she uses her voice in a different way.

That is one of my favorite Anita songs.

For the record, I prefer her voice over Sade's even though I own all of both artists.

Anita has the better voice, but SADE by FAR has the more interesting music and lyrics.
