Hey- that's a fantastic list and a great reminder of the best that was released last year...
Have you heard the Jamie T album, "Panic Prevention"?
It's a stunning debut album with touches of The Streets, The Clash, Sir John Betjeman- find the single "Sheila" as that will give you an idea.
But you really need to hear it as it sounds so modern, but timeless at the same time...my number 1 album of last year.
"There is no such thing in life as normal..."

Ear Drum -- Talib Kweli

Finding Forever -- Common

The Real Thing: Words and Sounds Vol. 3 -- Jill Scott
Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

Props will be withheld until the showing and proving has commenced. -- Aaron McGruder

Wack ass list. M.I.A. sucks. Her music is literally noise. Only hippies dig that shit.
Kick the old school joint 4 the true funk soldiers.

1. Sign 'o' the Times
2. 1999
3. Dirty Mind
4. Parade
5. Purple Rain
