One of my favorite songs. I still listen to it. I believe this was a Raphael Saadiq production.

Yes. This is my favorite by them. The only close second for me would be "Trippin."

Do you all know that before Andre 3000 dated Erykah Badu, he dated Keisha from this group who sings the 1st verse of this song?

He said that besides Erykah, she was the only woman he's ever loved. He also became celibate after dating her and I honestly think "Jazzabelle" is about Keisha. She's now married to Omar Epps.

Wasn't there a remix for "Kissin' You" based on "Oh Honey" by Delegation?

I didn't even like Total that much but this song was great. The track was a shining example of well done contemporary R&B at the time and it could still fly today if nobody had ever heard this song. Its pretty timeless.

I kinda forgot about the original version. I remember their 1998 album had a remix based on Malcolm Mclaren's "Hobo Scratch" (actually I'm pretty sure it was taken from Nubian Crackers' version of the loop called "Hobo Cracker" lol). That's why I held onto that second album actually.

I really miss 90's r&b groups like total! A lot of great R&B was born and died in the 90's.

I think the thing that bugged me most about this song was seeing "produced by Sean Combs" on the credits. I was like "This mutha fucka don't write music! These kids are gonna think he actually composed this". That really bugged me for a sec. I have extreme contempt for people like "Diddly" who don't do diddly but come in and tell the engineer to turn the cymbals down or something and then take credit for a track.

Yeah, I can't believe I forgot that one. "What About Us" is really my favorite from them, even over "Can't You See." nod
