Mike really should have fucked off the idea of remixes and just gone with a bonus disc of demos and outtakes. What a lame project it's turned out to be.

As for this track, it is decent. I agree with Diana, the "P.Y.T." is better, but this is alright. I also agree that it improves the original (like bboy said.) That being said though, the original wasn't that great. A lot of critics thought Thriller was dead in the water, when it was released, because the original, "The Girl Is Mine" was the first single and it sunk. It didn't do fantastic on the charts. People thought Thriller was a dud. Then came the OTHER singles....
Michael knew, and said in his autobiography, this single had to be the first single to get a big duet out of the way.

Take all that and make what you will with it.
