The Smiths - The Queen is Dead This album still PWNS.
I think I can listen to it track-by-track still today and not get bored. God I hope it gets remastered some day. The Smiths were such an important band to me growing up.

Great album. The only thing I ever skip is Vicar in a Tutu.

Over 20 years later it is still in my all time Top Ten Albums. I bought it on the day of release from Virgin Megastore in Manchester as initial copies were signed by Morrissey 
I pass Salford Lad's Club everyday in my car and I still glance over every time to see the site made famous in the inner sleeve photo. | |

Although I've loved The Smiths from day one, I do tend to either play "The Queen Is Dead" or "Strangeways Here We Come" the most. Especially the track "Death Of A Disco Dancer"

I don't think they did a bad album.
Similar to the Beatles/ The Jam in the way they had a short career, banged out an impressive array of great albums, some superb one-off singles (not to mention B-sides worthy in their own right) and split before they had outstayed their welcome.
