Anyone heard Budos Band? Instrumental Funk (Daptone Records)

I was at a friends place the other day and they were playing their new Budos Band cd they got for Xmas.
This is some cool shit. I've heard about the record label Daptone records before and read about their producers philosophy for recording. Their motto is "shitty is pretty!". Ha!

Anyway this is some nice stuff to get your party started.

For the people that think noone is recording funk anymore, checkout this label, as they really seem to have a one track mind recording their funk and I'm sure they have something for all appreciators.

Sharon Jones is the ringer from Daptone...Budos is great (especially live) and have a few members from the Daptones...and then there's The Daktari's, more african but no Thunder Chicken, that's for sure.

Here's my thoughts on Ms Sharon Jones...
