you cvan actually buy most, if not all of these, individually. i've seen the chi lites and delfonics one at walmart for like $7.88. i actually bought the RG&B online. be wary of the "shot in hi-def" part...some of it looks okay, other parts are just aiight. you'd be better off getting a copy of "the Big Show", hosted by jerry butler...3 discs, mostly favorable performances (including his own) smile

Last year,I ordered a similiar DVD set from Time Life.Titled 'Soul Celebration',it's basically a collection of the PBS concerts that aired on TV several years ago, featuring performances by Isaac Hayes,The Chi Lites,Evelyn Champagne King,The Stylistics,A Taste of Honey,Hues Corporation, etc.

So I wonder if I truly need the new set? hmmm

Did Ray Goodman and Brown have enough hits to do a concert dvd? I know they used to be the Moments, but I don't recall buy 3 or 4 hits from "the moments". I also only remember about 3 Ray Goodman and Brown songs. AlexDeParis, help me out.

Just imagine how much ass these DVDs would kick if the actual performances were from the 60s and 70s instead of the 2000s...
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I know. I would then justify paying the $150 for it.

I saw that commercial the other night also. The DVD in that collection that I want is Slave. As for the Melba Moore DVD, they can keep that shit.

I feel ya. I cannot stand Melba Moore. I never understood why she ever had a singing career. She can't hold a note to save her life.

The only thing I can think of by her that I like is "Loves Comin' Atcha'" and even that sounds weak compared to the stuff by other artists during that era.
