Any Music related gifts this year??? Happy Holidays everybody 
So did anyone get any cds, records, music dvds, etc. for the holiday? I got Seasons 1&2 of I Love Lucy, and the music numbers are my favorite parts!  If you will, so will I | |

I bought my uncle a Sun-Ra DVD directed by Phill Niblock. Hah, I don't think I'm going to get invited for the next christmas over at their place.
People don't buy me music recordings as gifts anymore. I'm quite happy about it, as I don't think they'd usually know what I'd want myself. I would be perfectly happy about getting somet basic stuff like an Alicia Keys record though, even if I wouldn't rush myself to stores to get such material myself. I get pots and pans instead. | |

A couple of gift cards to Borders. I've stopped asking for music. I'll either buy it or download it myself. That's half the fun of getting music for me. Plus, if I really want something, I'm too impatient to wait for a holiday. I'll probably use the cards for books, though. I'm in Hawaii at the moment, and I need reading material for the beach. As far as music goes, I got myself this:
Blondie - Forever Blondie Collector's Edition 
I've been meaning to get into Blondie's music but never really had any of the greatest hits albums or regular releases. Sure I have a few of there big hits as mp3s, but no albums. I saw this collection over and over again, sitting there during the holiday season. It kept CALLING ME, "Buy me today. Buy me, buy me any anytime. Buy me my love you can buy me any day or night, buy me!" (haha sorry for the lame-o "Call Me" reference/joke.) Needless to say on Christmas eve I bought it, and I'm so glad I did. 2007 musically is going out with a bang..Blondie style. MJ Fan 1992-Forever
